Herman Cain is expected to make a "major announcement" today, anytime between 11am and 1pm EST in Atlanta. The media is assuming he will quit the race. Politico is positively glowing with anticipation of this. Will he fold, or FIGHT? He is also opening a new Atlanta HQ. Twitter reports that people are jamming in early to show their support.
We simply don't know what will happen, or when it will happen. What are your thoughts? Do you think he should quit? Or do you think Cain should stay in the race and deny the State-Run Media yet another GOP scalp on a platter - for unproven allegations -while they allow a vile rapist like Clinton, or commie cokehead like Obama breeze through unscathed?

For about the zillionth time, the issue is a 13-year relationship with a woman that for some reason he never had opportunity to mention to his wife - even when he was calling/texting with this woman in the middle of the night.
It wasn't just a one-time gift to someone in need - he gave her money (according to some reports helped with her bills, etc.) over a 2-3 year period.
As anyone can clearly see (unless they have their heads in the sand - like apparently some on this thread) - this is vastly different from giving a "tip of $3 or more" (as you say) to a waitress, etc.
It’s not just the money, or the amount of money, it’s the communications. Even if 80% was her bugging him for money, that’s stalkerish and he should have told his wife. I think it is a character issue and I was a huge Cain supporter. What do husbands and wives talk about? Does he do a lot of stuff on his own without telling her? It’s problematic for me because he didn’t present himself as that type. I realize he has his business stuff and probably doesn’t discuss everything with his wife, but this is different.

Actually, the MSM will only destroy the big threats to Obama prior to the nomination. The candidate or candidates they most want to see go head to head w Obama will get a pass until it’s a done deal. This has already been answered. She texted him 57 times, he replied 17 times ONLY in response to her texts.
My understanding is that Cain’s attorney has demanded the release of the content of the texts, so they can show people there is nothing to them, but she is refusing.

I think if he stays in all of us, his supporters, should donate TODAY to show that he can rise in the polls and has support.
