Herman Cain Announcement LIVE THREAD (Video Feed Link) [Suspending!]
HermanCain.com ^ | 12-03-2011

Posted on 12/03/2011 8:18:19 AM PST by montag813

Herman Cain is expected to make a "major announcement" today, anytime between 11am and 1pm EST in Atlanta. The media is assuming he will quit the race. Politico is positively glowing with anticipation of this. Will he fold, or FIGHT? He is also opening a new Atlanta HQ. Twitter reports that people are jamming in early to show their support.

We simply don't know what will happen, or when it will happen. What are your thoughts? Do you think he should quit? Or do you think Cain should stay in the race and deny the State-Run Media yet another GOP scalp on a platter - for unproven allegations -while they allow a vile rapist like Clinton, or commie cokehead like Obama breeze through unscathed?

HERE IS THE LIVE VIDEO FEED LINK: http://hermancain.com/livestream

The blonde bimbo they paraded out lives in Axelrod’s apartment building in Chicago for heaven’s sake. TheO’s fingerprints are all over this. Let there be no deviation from the liberal dem viewpoint for blacks. Stay on that plantation or we will destroy you.

Exactly right. The DemocRATs wrapped a chain around Cain, tied him to the back of the truck, and dragged him around the plantation to send a message to any other blacks who might dare to challenge the regime. And the bread-and-circuses crowd whooped and hollered at the entertainment.

Well, to date, Gov. Perry has not been inundated with the type of allegations made against Herman Cain. So yes, I still support him.

I was wondering that, too, about his new campaign headquarters in Atlanta.

If Mr. Cain is quitting the race, why would he open a new campaign headquarters the same day?

It seems like the Herminator is in it to win it.

I agree. He’s not dropping out, and I am glad. He needs to stay in the race and defend his honor. I also don’t think he will be the nominee.

Even though I don’t really care for him, I think they should all be following Newt’s direction and trying to sell themselves rather than drag down other Republican candidates. These attacks don’t work - just ask Romney and Perry when they had their little playground fight over illegals. Both clearly did not benefit, and arguably were harmed a bit. Newt comes away the winner every time he takes the media to the woodshed over them playing “gotcha” politics.

So, I guess from your reasoning, Axelrod can go trot out some two-bit gold digger to make up stories about your preferred candidate, and you'll abandon him as well?

That's obviously ridiculous. Our commitment should be to Truth first - above any candidate. False allegations are just as reprehensible as attempts to excuse or cover-up wrongdoing.

I for one will withhold judgment until the truth comes out. If there is no confirmation of the allegations, then they must not be accepted. But, heaven forbid, they are confirmed, then we must not keep our heads in the sand.

and if Perry were way ahead, HE’D be the target whether or not the allegations, of whatever offense they say he’s guilty of, were true.

The media will destroy WHOEVER is leading the Republican pack, regardless of race or gender (Not including Mittens. They LOVE him, at least until he gets the nomination. THEN their fangs will come out).

I think he will stay in—but another revelation, or hit will sink him. It just smells bad that he paid the Bimbo—He looks guilty. If there is anything to these charges—he should fold his tent but Ego will keep him running—for now.

If he leaves, we will still have a president who has had multiple affairs, or maybe Romney. Herman Cain is our only hope for a conservative President!

Again I say:

I’m a Cain supporter. I cannot understand how people can buy the rumor/inuendo and condemn him. I just don’t understand that.

As far as how he handled it: First you guys want an outsider, a non politician, you get one and than you are down on him because he doesn’t respond like a politician, he responds like a regular non political type would. Some of you never wanted Cain but didnt’ want to be dubbed as racists. Some of you were fair weather supporters in lip service only. As soon as the road got bumpy..ya’ll caved like a cheap tent.

You say you want a conservative, a christian, a business savvy guy, a smart guy and you let the stupid media and same old gray haired GOP rhinos make you a laughing stock. Rove actually chuckled about the Cain demise on Fox the other night. Come on...are ya all as dumb as Rove thinks you are? Yeah..I guess it’s either that or you don’t believe in the principles that you have claimed day in and day out on this wonderful sight.

Herman Cain hasn’t changed! YOU have. You got jello-legged and Axelrod and Rove knew ya would..WHY? Because you fell for the same danged knee-jerk crapola and ended up with McCain LAST time.

Instead of kicking a good man while he’s down. Maybe..just maybe so called tea party people and the infamous “conservatives” should do some soul searching of their own. Which one of you are going to stand up, try your hardest and get attacked like this? Palin and Cain tried..heck you fair weather so-called christians are as luke warm as you can be.

Come to think of it..this country deserves just what it’s going to get. With obama..it will come fast..with newt and mitt..it will be a hair slower..but MUCH more painful. Why? Because Herman Cain did not change..YOU did.

I liked Cain, I was very interested in Cain but if his campaign is an indication of how he'd run his administration…

What turned me off was his nonchalant attitude towards policy detail and foreign affairs. He's a very smart man with an impressive business mind but you can't solve problems unless you have some grasp of them. It's inexplicable to me how someone with his education and experience could be so casual about getting up to speed on nation and international affairs.

Newt has plenty of ideas for rolling back the federal gov't. Replacing the EPA. Block granting more to the states. A flat tax that isn't revenue neutral which means spending will have to be cut. Newt has his own issues when it comes to sealing the deal and none of it has to do with his "baggage."

I don’t know how I will vote in the end, but Herman Cain has been slaughtered at the altar of dem politics. They see him as a serious threat to theO and a threat to keeping the blacks in line on the dem plantation.

Go Herman! Shove it right back to them. Blacks ARE paying attention. Whatever the outcome, conservatives need to stand by him or it will destroy all the progress we have made with blacks in promoting Herman to begin with. I for one, am sick of the politics of personal destruction.
