I will admit that your thoughts echo mine. I was enthusiastically supporting Cain since very early on but this all seems to be just too much of this. Mind you, I think the earlier tarts were simply a bunch of Democrat-based, false accusers. But this one, well, as a principled Conservative, this one is too much to let slide.

It does make you wonder how we’ll ever get a solid, pro-conservative candidate. If this revelation had been about a (D) candidate, it would be going down completely differently. You just know that’s the way it is. There truly is a double standard, but that’s because people on the left have no principles, so you can’t violate any of them (except maybe finding out a democrat is pro-life - that’s a game changer to their side).

Sigh.

That, at this point, he was helping her without his wife's knowledge? That could be saying something more about his wife than it does anything bad about him. Wait until something is actually demonstrated instead of reading bad things into something may not necessarily be bad, though many people earnestly desire it to be.
