RE: he’s a decent, naive guy who is easy for some people to take advantage of.

The more important question is this -— if he is a decent, NAIVE (emphasis) guy, is that a traight we want for a President?

It’s a dangerous world out there. We can’t have naive people occupying the highest office int heland.

All the left has to do is make a suggestion. That is what they do best, true or not.

I am more worried that we are being railroaded again by having to except candidates chosen for us. We are way too busy concentrating on people that have been chosen for us instead of candidates we really want. Again, where are the conservatives?

Okay...I admit ignorance.

Has it been proven there was a sexual relationship? If so, I missed it.

No. Although I'll take him over 0 (or Mittens) & I don't want him driven from politics, which is what I'm afraid of.

"good, cost-effective brand for a n00b gluesniffer like me to start with?"

"You might see me tonight with an illegal smile, it don't cost very much but it last a long while. . . ."
Song by John Prine.

Just between us Freepers, I steal my glue. Thanks to Barock I am Baroke. Good airplane glue is the best.

I really think she made the right decision to withdraw now. Who knows what they threatened her with?

P.S.

A relationship (does that mean friendship or sexual?) and the gifts from his wife?

It is obvious the wife is a very understanding woman to have also given her gifts.

I really feel duped by Cain. They asked him specifically if there were “any more” and he said not to his knowledge. He lied to all of us that stood behind him when the first two went public. Those first two women I believe were lying. This one I tend to believe. There is no way anyone would help support a woman for 13 years and not tell their wife. Where there is smoke there is fire in this case.

<><><><><<>

So a guy demonstrates to you, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that he’s keeping a relationship with another woman secret from his wife, for over a decade, in which money is provided to said woman.

In addition, he’s asked point blank about any other revelations that might surface, and he plainly says no, not a one. Knowing full well that Ginger was out there.

So, he’s concealed a relationship (with money changing hands) with another woman from his wife, AND, when asked about it denys.

Cain’s behavior in this matter (for me) tends to increase the credibility of the other women’s stories. Lying about any one of them calls his honesty about all of them into question.

Sorry, but that’s how trust works. Lie to me once, and all your previous statements now require more scrutiny and doubt.

I’d be interested in hearing how the female freeper contingent feels about their husbands giving another woman money over the course of at least a decade, and concealing it from you.

I know it would not go over well in my household (married 20+ years).

Where exactly is the blame for the people, the Left, who are actually doing this?

<><><><<><

Did the left somehow take the money out of Cain’s account and send it to Ginger? And then threaten Mr. Cain that if he told his wife, they’d .... what?

At what point do you hold people accountable for their actions?

With all do [sic] respect. What are we fighting? Communism via stuff like EPA AGW, etc,, redistributing wealth? Crony capitalism, globalist movement, gun grabbers, etc. ... Yes, adultery it is of some concern if it happened but is of little concern compared to the larger issues we are fighting.

Iron Munro answered your question best:

A man who can spend millions (of other people’s money) seeking the nomination without considering what a revalation like this can do isn’t smart enough to be president.

The EPA-environmental-lobby would absolutely eat this guy's strategic lunch.

AGW? The "hide the decline" emails completely undid the AGW movement. Imagine them finding some damning "hide the pollution" emails from people like Block that Cain would surround himself with?

We cannot afford to have a circus clown leading the last fight for the Republic. Instead, we have two carnival barkers and a drunk-sounding cowboy.

“I know it would not go over well in my household (married 20+ years).”

The word could be 20 years or a thousand years.

The key word is “trust,” which too many married folks don’t have of one another. And it is probably for good reasons.

If Adultery mattered Newt would be in the same position as Cain.

But Cain's value proposition was straight shooting truth-teller. And, whlie Newt lied to his wife, Cain has lied to us. By first saying it was all untrue, but now as the thread is unwound we see it wasn't just the unnamed sexual harrassment accusers, now it's a woman who says she was having an affair, who he admits he's given money to, who he admits his wife didn't know he was giving money to ... but he still says they weren't having sex.

Does anyone really believe that? I don't. So Cain reminds me of Clinton, wiggling and wiggling to split words to deny what he did until finally we got the Blue Dress.

freekit: My question is why do you guys with your votes want the country to continue on a spiral down?

You mean by being forced to vote for a RINO instead of a FULL-BLOOD COMMIE?

In other words, if you're piloting a plane when both engines flame out, do you try to glide for as long as you can until you can restart them or find a place to land, or not getting the performance you desire from the plane, do you say "I told the mechanics they were doing it wrong!" and leave the cockpit to smugly grab a final gin and tonic?

Thanks for the tip.

Say... my old eyes don’t focus so clearly any more.

At the top of the can, doesn’t it say “Head Right”? You know, as in “Get your head right”...? :-)

Some feel that the Republicans are taking us to hell too, just slower. I get that same feeling in my gut. But slower is good because something can always happen in between to change the course of history. If you have taken the fast lane to hell and are already there, there’s no chance for a miracle.

It might not be possible to have a Reagan right after a Obamunist.

What we need is a solid, conservative CEO of a good company or a red state.

All good capitalists have to be foxholed right now. They don't dare make themselves targets in this environment with 4 more years on the horizon if they fail, and with a 2 out of 5 still APPROVING of Obama for crying out loud....it's not a very safe bet to throw your hat in the ring anyhow.

Maybe we've got a choice of a RINO transition period where the economy can get going again, or all-out communist demise.

P.S.

Do you think Donald Trump bothers his wife by telling her every time he makes a donation whether it is to an individual or to some large charity?

Mr. Cain has enough cash to do the same. It is called “trust.”

I believed Juanita, and I believe Ginger.

Please remove yourself from the race Mr. Cain. It's over.
