Cain has to go home and repair his marriage even if he didn’t have a physical relationship with White. He hid something from his wife for a long time
He also stated in the interview with Hannity that there are other people she did not know about whom he was giving money to. It isn’t like Cain isn’t loaded. A 13 year “affair” would have some actual evidence. So far, there is nothing except for her accusation.
Sigh. People have no clue what it’s like to be a pastor’s family. My husband doesn’t tell me who all he has counseled or helped. In many marriages that would be considered terrible, but as a pastor that is just a fact of life. And pastors’ wives know that from the outset.
Because pastors deal with people in need, they have to be available at all hours. That doesn’t mean they lie awake at night to receive texts at 4am, but it does mean that they might receive texts or calls at any hour of day or night. That’s what it means to be a pastor. What time of day were Cain’s responses?
