They removed the cross from the city seal, but they want preserve this piece of junk?
Historical significance, that’s a hoot! Libs’ self-importance is off the charts!
Give the plywood to the homeless. The painting is not art, it is the mad rambling of a doped up leftist.
The appropriate place for the mural is at the entrance of the LA landfill.
That thing only has “significance” in an eighth grade notebook doodle sort of way.
How about the dump?
And you can send the bill to OWS.
This city has their priorities..... and God help us!
Well, the cross was removed because the ACLU sent a threatening letter. They didn’t want to take on the ACLU. They wanted to prove how liberal they area.
And by calling the Occupy LA seal historic, they again want to prove how liberal they are.
Meanwhile the economy and infrastructure of LA collapses, but at least they want to preserve a piece of what they think is history.

Except for the fact that California is terribly missing in historic “anything” ~ I’d recommend burning it.
Well sort of...
You could say that the collapse of the LA infrastructure has the Occupunk's "stamp of approval".
This kinda cr@p is so disheartening. More and more often, I think about just getting off forums like this. Disconnecting from the internet. It’s so depressing. But I can’t! It must be fought against! But I have very little hope in the American people right now,,,,,,,,,,
Olga Garay-English:
“The mayor’s office recognizes that this has historical significance so we’re working together to make sure that we come up with a good and appropriate solution,”
This is the kind of stupidity that could only find employment in government agencies.
Would it be OK if we threw feces on it an peed on it? And set it on fire? Freedom of speech, you know.
Maybe they should put it in the mayor’s front yard.
I thought this was a joke when I heard it but the Smithsonian is collecting “artifacts” from the “occupy” campsites:

All I can say is...
Oh Good Grief!
Let me also add...
Ive seen better “murals” on the sides of boxcars.
Ok, done!
The cross was the county seal. This is the city. Same idiocy, different idiots.
