America was never about compromise. It was founded by folks that refused to compromise.
We had a Civil War because we refused to compromise.
We WON World War 1 and World War 2 because we refused to compromise.
We won the Space Race because we refused to compromise.
The we started compromising. We lost the Vietnam War. Our Space program is effectively ended and we ended up with an Idiot that doesn’t even like America as President.
So no Matthews America is not supposed to be about COMPROMISE..............

Reagan compromised and look what happened. If it wasn’t for his cult-level status in the GOP, he would be heavily criticized by honest Conservatives. I’m not bashing him, I think he sincerely believed that he was doing the right thing at the time, but its time to stop these compromises and make serious spending cuts. The SHTF scenario is going to happen eventually, we should take the hit now. Kicking the can further down the road only exponentially increases how bad things are going to get when it collapses.
