Rick Perry casts Barack Obama as former President Jimmy Carter in a new television ad about energy independence.
The 30-second ad, titled "Energy Jobs," starts with both Obama and Carter bemoaning America's dependence on foreign oil. Republicans often make that comparison, hoping Obama will follow Carter's path as a one-term president....

He’s one candidate who does NOT believe it’s a good idea to attack other Republicans.
When we do attack each other we’re acting as stupid as those who voted for Obama in ‘08 (now that’s a group you do NOT want to be associated with).
GO AFTER, OBAMA REPUBLICANS - HE’S THE ENEMY!
What a great Ad! I heard it last night on FNC.
The two worst presidents in American History, Carter & Obama are used effectively to point out that Perry will ‘step on a few toes’ but get the job done!
Also loved the photo:
Perry, you magnificent bastard!
LOL! That’s Great! :)
I wonder if this will help him climb out of single digits.
You are so right. Obama and the Democrats are the destroyers of America. We must stay focused on that reality.
Perry gets it.
"General Patton" has a way with words! :)
Carter 2 or Bush 3...what a choice.
I’m supporting Perry ... happily.
By itself, no. As a small part of a larger strategy, perhaps.
GO AFTER, OBAMA REPUBLICANS - HES THE ENEMY!

Amen1 This is a good ad, btw.
Pretty easy one, dontcha think? :)
While I will support whoever gets the nomination, I actually do prefer Perry over the others. Don’t know if he can overcome his poor debates or brain freeze, but, hey, at least we know he is human and not some robotic machine put forward by the DNC, say like - uh - the one now squatting in the WH.
IF you'd rather NOT be pinged FReepmail me.
IF you'd like to be added FReepmail me. Thanks.

If you are talking the last centrury, for sure.
But there's a reason swing states like Ohio and Virginia have produced eight presidents each and Pennsylvania only one:
Carter 2? More like Carter Squared.
I believe Perry would be a good President..GO PERRY
