ATLANTA (AP) — The woman who says she had a long-running extramarital affair with Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain is a single mother and Atlanta-area businesswoman who has faced repeated financial trouble and once lost a lawsuit accusing her of spreading damaging lies about an ex-business partner.
Ginger White, 46, stepped into the national spotlight Monday when she disclosed what she said was a consensual sexual affair that lasted more than a decade and ended just before Cain, who is married, started running for president this year.

One of these times the accusation is going to blow up in the accuser’s face and they will bring a ton of legal woe on themselves by alerting someone as to their whereabouts, or opening up some old case, or something, IMHO.

This is how you repay someone who admittedly has always been nice to you and given you money to help you out. I’m not buying this unless the woman can give more details. Just because she calls Herman all the time is proof of nothing. Hundreds of people probably call the guy everyday. He has had a successful talk show for years.

I’m beginning to think that’s there a concerted effort to bring Cain down with all of these “lawsuits”.
That makes me think that a lot of people are afraid that he might end up with the Republican nomination......and would be hard to beat in an election between him and Obummer.

I have not heard of “lawsuits”...only “allegations” with not a scintilla of evidence. The liberals must figure conservatives are dumb enough to run for cover upon hearing “allegations” even if there is no evidence to prove any are true.
This is what sort of bugs me about this though.... Why hasn’t Cain attacked back?
If someone were to slander me this way and cost me a job based on complete lies, trust me, it would be in the news. Maybe local news because I am not important like someone running for POTUS. Still, I would spend some money and have my lawyers completely bury these people. As long as there is nothing If this accusation from the “Ginger Chick” is a lie... I hope Cain attacks back with full vigor.
Here are two things I don't understand:
1. Why didn't the accuser (and/or her handlers) use a standard law enforcement technique of calling Cain on the phone (she has his phone number) and through casual conversation “catch” him on tape acknowledging the affair? It is so basic of a technique, it's a no brainer. (Unless, of course, there was no affair)
2. I can empathize with Cain not wanting to unleash attack lawyers on these accusing women knowing that they will be forever branded and exposed; and knowing that the political hacks behind the scenes will likely never be appropriately discredited.
But, this is the highest stakes in politics and unfortunately there are political casualties. This is no time to be a martyred gentleman ... because if Cain can't dispose of this B.S. situation then how is he going to handle serious national situations?
He's going to have to crush the accusers like they are rabies-crazed hostiles and dig as deep to get the puke-spewing handlers. And this should be his lawyer's job while Cain campaigns.
In other words ... Mr. Cain, take off the gloves ... let your lawyer harshly clean up the honey-pots and get on with it and win this damn election!
P.S. Pick Sarah as your running mate.
