WASHINGTON (AP) — An Atlanta businesswoman who has asserted she had a longstanding affair with Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain stood by her story Wednesday despite his denials, saying she was not proud to admit it.
"Our relationship was on and off for the last 13, 14 years," Ginger White said in a nationally broadcast interview. "This was not a consistent love affair that went on every day for the last 14 years, so he is correct when he made that statement."
But White also said she was "disappointed" that Cain had called her a "troubled Atlanta businesswoman."

These bimbo eruptions have nothing to do with Cain’s fall in the polls.
His fall is a result of his 9% sales tax and zero knowledge of foreign affairs.
Primary voters are not stupid.
Ann Coulter pointed out that all these women seem to fit the same description, history of bankruptcy, single mother, past history of filing sexual harassment claims, just not credible.
Add to that the fact that the signed book is addressed to, Miss G. Does that sound like someone with whom a man has been intimate? The press has simply lowered the bar to low, they wouldn’t even accept Gennifer Flowers tape recorded phone sex as proof.
I’m not a real Herman Cain supporter, but I just don’t find this woman credible.

I really don't think Herman is that stupid. If what this bozo is saying is true, Herman had to know it would come out. I really don't think Herman would put his family through something like what the bozo claims.

This is being trumpeted as "an affair", yet NOT ONCE HAVE I HEARD HER SAY IT WAS A SEXPLOIT, but merely talk and financial support for this gold-digger.
I don’t know about the foreign affairs bit. Have a look on his website. Reading the things that he has written about foreign policy are like a breath of fresh, Ronald Reagan scented air.
You don’t have to make real decisions alone, on camera, while being attacked by a pack of snarling, snarky “reporters”.
IF this is true, the accuser should be able to produce some sort of proof other than text/call records and as far as I know, there has been nothing produced to date.
I'll reserve judgment, but as of now, I am very skeptical.

It was grumpybutt who brought that up, and he makes a good point.
As the wife of a cancer survivor, and knowing first hand how much it took out of him, I would be amazed if Mr Cain could carry on an extra marital affair while battling this.
Mr Cain is just a man, not Superman.

Where was Clintons knowledge of foreign affairs or Bush’s or Obamas? Since none of them had any experience in foreign affairs I’m curious who you voted for.

13 years of an alleged affair and as of yet not one piece of solid evidence!!! No steamy love letters, e-mails, video tapes, hotel receipts, witnesses, dna covered dresses. Nada, Nothing, Zip, Zilch!
Until something solid is presented, she’s a lying female dog in my book.
So where is the proof? The text messages, the cell recordings, the cards, the notes? Anything?? After 14 years??

That is your first point.
And the answer is: She was apprised that someone who knew of the alleged affair was going to the press about it. She decided, if it were going to hit the air, it would be prudent to get out in front of it and disclose it herself.
That makes the rest of your points mute - especially your last assertion: "That is the only scenario for voluntarily disclosing something she claimed she did not want to disclose.
So there IS another possible 'scenario for...disclosing." after all.

I think you're absolutely right! I also think she's being coached by someone in exactly how to phrase things to avoid anything actually provable -- or actionable.
