I've been wondering why they brought these allegations against Cain out during the Primary and not the General Election. After reading about a poll showing most of Cain's supporters will go to Newt it came to me. First of all they gambled that Cain will not win the primary (even without the allegations). Obama and the MSM fear that Romney would have the best chance against Obama. With Cain's voters going more to Newt this is their way of getting a candidate who is easier to beat (notice too how Cain initially suspected Newt and not Romney).
I don't think the commies are that well organized.
This is opportunism on their part.
Do we have a sh!tty slate of candidates? Sure, there's no doubt about it.
Still, the GOP is likely to win big in 2012 no matter the candidate.
Too bad it won't be Palin with Christie as VP.
However, as the GOP is want to do, it will likely be Romney or Newt. If I'm forced to hold my nose in the primary between those two, I'll pull the lever for Newt...the illegal loving and lawless, corrupt politician that he is.
Anybody But Obama.
Do you think Mitt Romney’s ineligibility, death panels,
BIGDIG fiasco, love for fees/taxes, or lying
is going to give him the biggest traction with his
supporters like you?
Given the associations with Chicago and Axelrod, for whom the sexual dirt attack on behalf of Obama is such a modus operandi that it's a signature, I suspect the latter. And of course, anything Gloria Allred is involved in is a scam.
Because we NOW know that the new newt is really, under all that phony exterior, a ‘humane’ and brilliant man who can REmake the meaning of ‘is’ into WAS...and everyone knows that WAS doesn’t really count, only what ‘is’.
Not really, they just had to have been known to have filed complaints which no one is disputing. What is disputed is if the complaints are true or not. Those type of complaints happen all the time in businesses as people look for paydays.
Also, remember, what was defeated due to this was Hillarycare, not just some minor bill, but their crown jewel. Some of the players now like Axelrod and Rahm worked for Clinton at the time.
(I think the latest one is just an opportunist who saw the others and is looking for a payday.)
Because he's an idiot when it comes to the Constitution of the United States.
I cite as one example his recommendation that we allow all states to set their own immigration rules.
The man is not fit, knowledge-wise, to be POTUS.
One must know what the Constitution says and what it means to be considered by ANY thinking person.
Yes, they must have principles, and leadership, and conviction and all sorts of other qualities.
But primarily they should be knowledgeable of the Constitution and it's intent as the primary requisite.
Cain doesn't cross that threshold and I could cite several examples.
A CinC that doesn't have an opinion on Iran or Israeli settlements?
Give me a break...
Ignore the polls. They mean nothing. In December of 2003 we were all gearing up for Howard Dean to be the democRATS pick to run against Bush. Kerry at that point was way back and not considered a viable candidate. Look how quickly that turned! It could happen here.
All our candidates are far from perfect. Romney, Huntsman and Perry are three I won’t even consider casting a Primary vote for.
Newt at this point is the new flavor of the month. But as we are all reminded of his baggage (his affairs, his sitting on a couch with Pelosi, his attack on Paul Ryan, etc), I won’t be surprised to see to see the “front runner” shift again. Who knows, maybe Bachmann will have a resurgence, maybe Cain, maybe even Ron Paul. Maybe Sarah Palin will decide the field sucks and jump in. Who knows?
Bottom line is once the candidate is pickedthe whole focus of the election will change. It will no longer be about the Republican candidate. It will be about Obama and only Obama.
The media will lie and tell you “what a tight race this is. It’s neck and neck.” Truth be told, it won’t be close. Obama has a low 30’s% approval among independents. They won’t vote for him no matter how much doubt they have about the Republican candidate. They want him gone. Obama’s aproval among Democrats is on 72%. That’s not good enough to rally the base.
This election will be like 1980. Most independents had doubts about Reagan. But they voted for him because he wasn’t Carter. That will happen again, they will vote for the man (or woman) not named Barack “Barry” Hussien Obama-Dunham-Soetero-Obama
Lets just hope the Republican candidate will as Conservative as possible. If it’s Romney, we’ll just go from hard core Marxisim to medium core Socialism.
Showing your age again? After the primary, I hope we will ALL be able to get behind one candidate and vote OBAMA out of office.
Maybe he would have as much sense as bush and hire ms rice. Oh, by the way, mark pointed out, today, that people like you said the same thing about mr Reagan. And some dumb backwoods representative from Illinois, that could barely write, hell you would have had him shot.
A conservative who can articulate conservative principles wins elections.
Wishy washy Reach-across-the-aisle RINO moderates always lose.
The exception is Bush I, but he was running as Reagan's successor.
Bush II ran as a conservative but governed as a moderate in his second term and he lost congress.

Right, the media keep saying people are done when they’re not.
Reagan was governor of California for 8 years before he became president. He had executive experience in the political arena. And he knew the Constitution.
I will not vote for Rommey!
It isn't the act, it's the perceived cover up
[This assumes that the guilty isn't a liberal]
If we pick Bachmann, Cain or Santorum than for sure that will happen. Otherwise, I don’t know. I can’t do another McCain. It was bad enough last year although Sarah made it somewhat easier. I can’t believe with what a disaster this President is we are still trying to chose a guy who is not 100 percent conservative. It does not make any sense. Why are we settling for less than we deserve?????
Trouble for the Dems is, Cain is a credible critic oF Obama, as a businessman and a minority candidate, in a way that the others aren’t.
The longer he stays in the contest, the more uncomfortable it gets for Obama. Once Cain is gone, the rest can be dismissed as a bunch of racist crackers. That’s why they’re working so desperately to trash Cain now.
Notice how we don`t see the media trying to scandal-ize Romney.
It's getting so one can't tell the difference between that bunch and the Axlerod/Obama Chicago gang.
