As you probably heard yesterday, a troubled Atlanta business woman used national media outlets to promulgate a fabricated, unsubstantiated story about a 13 year affair with me. I am writing you today to assure you that this woman’s story is completely false.
I do know Ms. White. I have helped her financially at times over the past few years, just as I have helped many friends and acquaintances throughout the years. I thought Ms. White was a friend in need of a supportive hand to better her life.
Ms. White has made it apparent that she was abusing the friendship.
But now I am asking for your friendship. I am also asking for your prayers and support. This is a trying time for my family, my campaign, and for me. It is also a trying time for our country as we are all distracted from the truly important issues facing our nation.
This evening I have an important speaking engagement at Hillsdale College in Hillsdale, Michigan, where I will be outlining my foreign policy and national security plan. While recent events have taken a toll on me, the people in the audience this evening will not know it. I will deliver my message with vigor and enthusiasm.
Let me assure you, I am not deterred. America’s future is too important. We will continue on this journey to make America great once again.

Can you point me to your source that Herman’s wife was friends with this woman? I have seen nothing indicating that. Assuming they were friends with her, how can all the Cain sycophants go around impugning her character on the one hand and then supporting Herman on the other? If he was friends with this person of such obvious low moral character, what does that sya about his judgement?
Newt’s a hoot. He wants to be the “definer of civilization’. I just hope his ego is big enough for the job.
MHGinTN gave you an excellent explanation for why Cain can’t rip into every woman that accuses him. Most of them are sadly pathetic. As soon as he went on the attack, his favorables would plummet. Not the way to get into the WH, by a long shot.

I am with you on the whole corruption in Washington DC thing. Crony capitalism is rampant on both sides of the aisle in that cesspool. I am just not sure Cain is the person who can drain the swamp, and his performance lately has been dreadful. From foreign policy brain freezes to these bimbos, he is being overwhelmed by events and can’t get ahead of them. Not a good indicator for what kind of a POTUS he would be.
Are you serious? “How could he be friends with someone of such low moral character?” Have you read any of the stories about, or did you just decide that this was a great opportunity to slander and libel, cast aspersions, and leap to currently unsubstantiated conclusions?
I don’t think I want to correspond with someone who would do those kinds of things. Talk about a beam in the eye! That’s a 4x4!

The article doesn’t mention how many texts, but wouldn’t it be coincidental if it were approximate 60 over a period of four months?

Her ex-husband John White, 45, said he had no knowledge of the alleged affair between Ginger White and Herman Cain. “It wouldn’t surprise me either way,” John White said.
The two were married in 1993. They were separated in 1997 and 1998, a period that would have overlapped with the beginning of the alleged affair between White and Cain. John White said Ginger has been married at least three times.
Ginger White, who could not be reached for an interview, told the reporters who showed up at her apartment Monday night that she is standing by her story.
As she revealed details of the alleged romantic liaison, she suggested that she expects tough scrutiny of her background and conceded in her initial interview with the Fox affiliate in Atlanta that she had made mistakes in some of her business dealings.
According to Georgia court records, she has been given eviction notices at least five times by landlords seeking back rent. A former business partner, Kimberly Vay, sued White earlier this year after a dispute that began when White wrote disparaging comments about Vay in a mass e-mail — comments that White recanted four months later as part of a legal settlement. The two women fell out after a fitness business they ran together collapsed.
“She came back and stated that everything she stated in the e-mail was completely false,” Vay said in an interview. “She admitted to making it all up out of anger and frustration.”
White also agreed to pay Vay’s legal fees but eventually stopped making her monthly payments, leading to the lawsuit, Vay said.
Ginger White’s attorney, Edward Buckley, did not respond to requests for comment Tuesday.
White declined to elaborate on her statements during a brief interview with the Associated Press at her apartment in the Atlanta suburbs Monday night. “I can’t make any comment on this,” she said. “We’re trying to be slightly sensitive.”

I guess reading comprehension is not your strong suit. Too bad. It’s a big asset in holding an intelligent conversation.
MGD and I got sucked in to a situation for a very long year. We thought we were helping a friend of our daughter's and her mom out of a temporary bind, and ended up with the daughter living with us for a year and the (unknown to us at the time) heroin-addicted mom calling at all hours for my hubby to drive her places and fix stuff for her. If he were running for President, I'm sure this nut job could make up a good story similar to the one Ms. White is telling based on the number of communications that were exchanged.
Are you purposefully acting jerk-like, or are you genuinely unable to grasp the point of two intelligent posts written to you on this subject?
