Hoo Boy! Have I HEARD THAT one before.
I can’t tell you how many un-wed mothers I have taken in, apartments I have cleaned ,painted, and wallpapered, and financial help I have given to folks whose only qualification was that “They agreed with me spiritually”. And guess what, every one of them has betrayed my friendship.
It is a very typical reaction of down-and-out folks to “bite the hand that feeds them”. Perhaps it is because they see their own inadequacies when they have to rely on someone for help.
This is one of the pitfalls of sincere ministry. Yet we must never become weary of well-doing, as we do it unto the LORD, and HE keeps GOOD BOOKS!

Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. (or one rejected)
Ditto. And I just got a shot of that in my back a couple of days ago. Really made me just sick to my stomach. Left myself short because I trusted someone...mostly for the children’s sake. Throw children into the mix and I am a goner. Still short and it ain’t coming back. You live and you learn.
This woman had two childen that were not grown 13 years ago.
