Cigar smokers are mad as hell, and they arent going to take it anymore. Faced with an unprecedented assault on their guilty pleasure from President Barack Obama's Food and Drug Administration, aficionados and industry insiders told The Daily Caller that theyre picking up their torch lighters and revolting.
Usually divided by their preferences for mild, medium and full-bodied smokes, they're uniting against regulations that threaten to make cigars prohibitively expensive, shut down scores of small cigar shops, jeopardize tens of thousands of jobs and erase the traditionally bright line between Camels and Cohibas.
Cigar lovers are also recruiting members of Congress to defend what public health activists and anti-cancer crusaders see as little more than gentrified cigarettes smoked by economic one-percenters.

They’ll not only kill American jobs. The folks in central America who make them will probably illegally emigrate to the USA once the market for cigars is destroyed and they lose their jobs, too.
Fortunately, I moved to tobacco country in Kentucky. It’s not the best stuff for cigars, but if I have to roll my own...
Why should cigars be treated any differently than cigarettes?
It’s all an overreaching pile of nanny state crapola.
I have something better the “anti-cancer” folks can chew on; how about instead of endlessly whining about tobacco, they go after abortionists for covering up the link between abortion and increased breast cancer risk. How about that?
Don't pass laws that later need to "corrected" by carving out exceptions. Don't give them any more power.
