Well, if it comes out that he lied about having no skeletons in his closet, then he should drop out.

If that's not the case and this is all just slander, he should stay in and fight!

Bachmann and Cain have been swapping position back and forth as my primary choices with Santorum as an acceptable reserve.

Can agree with your assessment but any GOP candidate, even Romney is better then what we have now.

From a reality perspective, the President is nothing more then a figure head that may be a true leader and patriot (Regan) other times there pretty much useless and want to destroy America (Obama). They can do damage ONLY if they have a Congress behind them that gives them whatever he want i.e. Reid, Pelosi, Hoyer etc. If we take the Senate and retain the House then I think we’re in semi-good shape as long as it’s not Obama.

How do you know they’re false? Herman is a man. And if there’s anything I’ve learned in my time on this earth its that when it comes to men and sex, it’s that when there is smoke, there is usually fire.

Went over and your post there. Pretty accurate IMO.

I’m not prep’ed enough and am too close to major cities. And I can’t relocate because I am helping my elderly mother who has health and mobility problems.

It will be FUBAR.

Doesn’t matter if its true any more. The MSM will simply inundate us with headlines until the candidate surrenders.
They have been practicing. Remember the AWOL stories in 2004? The entire MSM knew from the start there was nothing to it. The Dallas newspaper even had an editorial saying this, followed by 100 breathless front page stories about it as if it were true.

Here on FR, usually when people are silent or don’t offer a defense, they are considered guilty.

Looks like we are SCREWED for our Presidential candidate, people. :-(

Newt is an amoral lib in conservative clothing. The only thing we know about him for sure is that he will betray our sovereignty.

Mittens is a far-left liberal, author of Obamneycare, and a flipflopper of Kerry caliber.

Perry is a tongue-tied big-govt crony capitalist eager to destroy our border.

Michelle, Santorum have the right principles but have no chance in heck.

Palin isn’t running.

I’m already focusing on Congressional races. The Presidential one is in rubble, IMHO.

If you won’t vote for the Repub nominee, you might as well vote for Obama. It’s as simple as that.

If you vote for Romney because he's the Repub nominee, you might as well vote for Obama. It’s as simple as that.

I was right there with you on Team Fred! in 2008. If only we could have just ... INSTALLED him as President (without a grueling campaign). But Fred! seemed to think that he could win in 2008 by running a McKinley-style, low-effort, front-porch campaign. Sigh.

Well, to be fair (and frank), I’m following this race as people follow sporting events. I am a prepper and consider the country (and western civilization) as done, almost certainly in 2012.

Heck, why restate it. Here is how I feel about it: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2795993/posts?page=4#4

So my question to you then is, what are you going to do about it? Are you going to leave the country? If so, where are you going to go? Should all of us who still love and are willing to keep fighting for this country just jump off a bridge since you seem to think it’s a foregone conclusion there’s no hope for western civilization and therefore we should just turn it over to the socialists/communists and get it over with? Well, I’m glad our founding fathers didn’t have this defeatist attitude when they were fighting for independence from the British. Sheesh!

Honestly, I’m so sick and tired of reading doom-and-gloom posts on FR, which seem to be becoming more plentiful here these days. They’re highly non-constructive and counter productive quite frankly. SHOW SOME BACKBONE, FOLKS!!

Come on. We all knew there would be a bimbo eruption when he entered the race. It’s just the way it is.

The media wins another one. First Sarah, no Herman...

Someday, they hope, there will be no one left on the conservative side and the country can be run by the liberal perverts, adulterers and thieves that the media finds no problem with.

I think the GOP nomination pool is about to be spiked with a Barracuda, silent, fast and a fighter.

Comes out of nowhere striking fast.

But it depends on who believes who drew first...

I bet modern technology will reveal it all in due time, it may not be the right time but if indeed Cain withdraws it will indeed leave quite a few with an upset stomach.

First one must not forget, the liberal democratic society rules the MSM. Myself I am going outside and work on my old 1983 Honda CX650 I bought this spring, it needs some fork seals and a carb cleaning.

Oh vey today, no? ;). I agree that it would be great to have a conservative list of “no go” policies that will rule out a candidate, but we can’t all agree on which ones. I think we all agree on health care, for instance, but not on abortion policy or illegal aliens etc. Even organizing conservatives is like herding cats.

I’m highly disappointed, and the double standard for Republicans disgusts me. but I don’t feel Cain is the only candidate who would do well in the presidential role.

It’s just reality that our president needs to be media savvy and anticipate this sort of thing from the get go, whether or not she or she has baggage at all.
