Well it’s also important to rally around before the Texas primary and promote him on line and anywhere else. I know I wont get to vote for him either until March but he needs to be our President so I try to persuade undecideds.
I do not consider Gingrich to NOT be a SOCON.
So what? Romney, Cain and Gingrich etc. all ask for Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s endorsement yet PERRY got it. Endorsing Romney in 2008 tells me what little respect and trust he has in McRino. You’d think he’d have endorsed a senator from his home state but declined. WOW! Arpaio was shoving it in McRino’s face.
Rick Santorum has three major problems; he endorsed Spectre over Toomey which shows lack of proper judgement.
he lost by almost 20 pts to an idiot. Thirdly he has an Eddie Haskell personality.
I agree with your basic point, but the hatred Palin evokes is much greater around where I live, among liberals and independents, both of whom we need to win. Perry does not seem to evoke anywhere near the same visceral dislike as Palin. He gets lumped with “all Republicans” among those who blindly hate Republicans but he does not evoke the hatred that I have seen on FR.
Saw a woman wearing a Perry button last night. First one I have seen. OK, it was a Tea Party meeting.
That should certainly be Perry’s reply if asked about it.
Look out for this guy [Rick Perry], Im telling you. When Romney kept insisting Perry let him talk and sounded whiney in doing it, the Texan finally looked at him and said, Have at it. So he uses a marvelous Southwest colloquialism to give Romney permission to proceed. That one may go down with Reagans There you go again to Carter. Never mind politics, American public life has not seen this kind of camera presence since maybe John Wayne. Men like him and women admire him. And he seems to be getting used to the debate format. On or off stage, hes got a commanding and theatrical presence.
Great job! Our folks were there to meet with Reps and Senators, face to face, the first time around when it only passed the House, and Senators the second. We made thousands of calls and sent faxes and emails. Then they dropped it like a hot potato. If you want to work together to organize another rally, let me know. We have many folks who want a civil war over this in the next legislative elections. I don't, but there's is mucho anger our there, as you know. We'll see what happens. Meanwhile I have been working pro-bono on behalf of Sgt. Joslyn Johnson in her sanctuary cities lawsuit against Houston on behalf of her murdered husband. That is our main focus in Houston now.
There’s a rumor that many of them are Paultards.
I know a real American hero said that but I don’t know if I can drop his name yet.
Hold on to that until the appropriate time.
Perry was great in the last three debates (two were not widely televised as one was the Luntz debate in Iowa on a Saturday night which SHOULD have been televised and the SC debate on a Saturday night... also watch the youtube of Perry speaking at Sean Hannity’s Texas Freedom concert...... Perry was nothing short of spectacular.
Arpaio knew McCain was not tough on immigration. Those of us in Arizona know who McCain is... sad that NH went for him in 2008.
Shame on you! It is one thing to be for a different candidate then Perry, but you took the low road when you bashed Sheriff Joe, just because he endorsed Perry.
Shield, thank you for the link and article.

If you’re going to call Rick Perry “Rick Gore,” you have to call Herman Cain “Herman Clinton.” Although that might have more than one meaning - not just that he voted for Clinton in 1992.
