Well, that sure figures... unfortunately it also means that this very thread just doubled the number of people actually reading his comments.
- Al Gore
It is an obscene joke for al gore to mention the word, “truth”. He couldn’t process the word “truth” with his corrupted Marxist head.
LoL. Yeah, right, Al.
Al Gore is the prototypical politician - someone who thinks they are special and spend their entire lives trying to prove it. Because political activism (e.g. marches and rallies, save the planet causes etc.) is much bigger on the left, they are naturally attracted to the left. Liberalism gives them much more opportunity to put their ‘stamp’ on the world and prove their ‘specialness’.
This is also why they aren’t into thoughtful incremental change. They are fundamentally grandiose, and want to do ‘big’ things (e.g. the ‘New Deal’, socialized health care, nationalized child care, and ‘saving the planet from global warming’).
Ironically, they have such a need to be special, that they can’t tolerate a system that allows everyone to be ‘special’ and individual (e.g. capitalism, self-determinism, personal responsibility). They support a political structure wherein they are adored and the rest of us do the adoring, while we are being ‘taken care of’ by them. It’s perfectly fine for the rest of us to spend our littler lives under them, doing our nice little things while paying homage to them and being thankful. In other words, like all who tend toward narcissism, those around them are objectified, like props around their central stage.
I could go on and on about this, because there is a lot of pathology to cover, but you all know the picture anyway. One thing I’d like to say, though, is that the entertainment industry, the ‘news’ industry, and academia attract many of the same types.
One common misconception they hold is that everyone wanted to do the same in life as them, and that they somehow ‘won’ a universal competition (e.g. everyone wanted to be a Senator, everyone wanted to go to Harvard, everyone wanted to ..... fill in the blank). It’s really a pathetically misinformed, painfully narrow, and self-aggrandizing world view.
If only we would all just sit back and let them be special...
(I’m serial..).
Anyone know what Current's ratings are?
It's interesting that three fairly big media stars..Olbermann, Beck, and Stern...are now off the MSM grid...used to be..everyday, there would be something in the papers on online about what Stern said or it..now..it's like theya re all in cyberspace Siberia.. I guess that alternative media still has a ways to go..
Let these stupid rich libtards waste their money on a hopeless goal.
especially hard hitting documentaries about Donkey Kong players.
ROFLOL.Yes they sure are and that is why not a single show even registers in the ratings.Let’s say there are 700 shows on on cable....al of currents show occupy #700,#699,#698.....you get the idea. The bright side is that I’m sure he has a ton of his ill-gotten money from the faux science of glow bull warming involved.
Just another delusional, demented Democrat/Leftist/Socialist/Liberal.
I don't want ANYONE "connecting the dots" for me. I'm so tired of politicians presuming to speak and think for me.
Nobody watches that channel
Is there any intelligent life on Current TV?
Joy Behar’s show lasted two years. I doubt Al Bore will last that long.
I can’t stop laughing! Unvarnished high school video projects and opinions is more like it. Incomplete thoughts at best!
