Of all the sordid machinations conjured up by the sinister, mad-cow-disease ravaged brains that characterize the demented left wing, liberal mindset, the most heinously cynical blood-libel of them all, was the
Bush is Hitler mantra, that was spread across the political landscape like fresh manure on roaming farmland, to take up a most metastasizing life of its very own. This infamous, utterly obscene incantation spawned within the mendacious cesspool that is the Democratic party and its ilk, was kept alive, upfront, never for a moment allowed to fade from the political consciousness by the left wing lapdogs and their all-too-enthusiastic-revisionist-facilitator, the fourth estate as fifth column that is the MSM.
I have no illusions regarding the sisyphean task of having Obama is Stalin ever to achieve any sort of traction at all, as grass root phenomena but at least I have the fulfillment of making some sort of political statement of my own in the utter pulsating vehemence I have towards the none-too-soon-evicted occupant at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

One possible reason is that the contract request ready to use aircraft, not models still under development. The AT-6 is still under development. This whole contract process was started last year when the military had already started training pilots in the Super T to meet animmediate need in Afghanistan. Instead of deploying pilots and aircraft to meet that need last year, the Kansas congressional contingent insisted on a bidding process to allow Hawker Beechcraft to compete.

Hawker Beechcraft was eliminated in favor of a Brazilian manufacturer? Wow. And the Keystone pipeline was nixed, meanwhile Obama bankrolls Brazilian explorations and says "we will be your best customer".
Goodbye North Dakota and Kansas, hello Rio. Obama has a funny way of focusing on jobs in the US.

0bama doesn't like Bill Boisture's attitude so we all will pay for it.
It's the right of a tyrant to act this way.

Theyre being pretty blatant about it, arent they? They can get away with it because the 90% of the sheeple who think the MSM actually covers the news will never find out.

The only surprise here is that the military actually got the plane it wanted.

-——the military actually got the plane it wanted-——
and more importantly, when it will be needed. The boys in Kansas apparently do not have a plane with which to fulfill the contract. Time is of the essence

Yes, true. (In the style of writing in which I am wont to express myself, have too many times been castigated for, I was inclined to respond with quite true, but then realized I would once again bring out the consummate grammarian in you (as I myself strive to be) but thankfully correcting it in time. I would have cleaned it up as I usually do but had to attend to matters requiring my immediate attention.
Anyway, your kind words are most appreciated.

The Super-T is going to be assembled from kits, in Florida. The last time I talked to somebody in this program they were using a FLIR product from Oregon.
Hawker Beech was using several companies from Canada, including Wescam for their camera.

Hawker-Beechcraft should have read the contract requirement
Line 1:
“BACKGROUND AND REQUIREMENTS: LAS aircraft must be a non-developmental item (NDI) that is production-ready. No development or testing funds are available. ” Introduction of LAS Solicitation FA8615-10-R-6088”
They didn't have a production aircraft then, they don't have one now.

Thanks lbryce.
a U.S. military procurement contract has lightly side-swiped three of Quebec's largest aerospace firms. Wichita-based aircraft maker Hawker Beechcraft Corp. was excluded without explanation last week from a competition to supply 20 AT-6 Texan II light-attack and training planes to the Afghan air force... apparently makes a winner of the Super Tucano trainer and light-attack aircraft produced by Brazil's Embraer, the only other bidder for the contract... Pratt & Whitney Canada ... also supplies the same engine for Embraer's Super Tucano. Hawker Beechcraft said it was "confounded and troubled" by its unexplained elimination from the bid, and asked the U.S. air force for a formal debriefing...
