Thanks for pointing that out, upchuck. I guess I went that route because of a previous thread I posted from the LAT. My article was less then 300 words and excerpted but the mods redid it and cut it down to 2 small paragraphs. The reason that showed up in the Mod "history" said this...

Other Presidents give thanks to God on behalf of the American People whom they are privileged to serve.

Obama gives bland thanks to everybody else, except himself in whom he marvels, and manages to leave God out. Well, OK, he did slip in snarky criticism of his enemies. But did anybody seriously expect this churlish little bastard to leave political partisanship out of anything he mouths?

I suppose we should all give thanks to God he did not give thanks to Allah. That's a tiny blessing, but we should take whatever we can get out of this nasty unAmerican fraud.

There will be a lot more thanksgiving in the hearts of Americans when he is finally gone.
