Customer service representatives from Butterball, one of Americas most popular Turkey brands, confirmed to WND that the companys whole turkeys are without being labeled as such slaughtered according to Islamic halal standards.
Halal slaughter involves cutting the trachea, the esophagus and the jugular vein and letting the blood drain out while saying, Bismillah allahu akbar in the name of Allah the greatest, explains Pamela Geller, author of Stop the Islamization of America: A Practical Guide to the Resistance. Many people refuse to eat it on religious grounds. Many Christians, Hindus or Sikhs and Jews find it offensive to eat meat slaughtered according to Islamic ritual.
She continues on her blog, Atlas Shrugs, I dont want to eat halal. Not a bite and yet this is being shoved down the throats of Americans without their knowledge.
Multiple phone representatives at Butterball confirmed the turkeys are slaughtered according to halal standards, and one named Tracy (she declined to give her last name) further confirmed the words of Islamic dedication are spoken over the birds. None, however, could explain exactly how the slaughters are performed.
I dont actually work in the processing plant, Tracy explained.
As WND reported earlier this year, however, Butterball isnt the only company that may be serving halal meats to unaware customers.
So what do you think? Do you have a problem eating a turkey that was given the halal treatment? Are you upset that Butterball does not indicate that their birds were slaughtered by halal standards like Jews do with their kosher symbols?
Jihad per TV realism series- All American Muslims
TLC Sunday, 9 PM CST
It is an attempt to manipulate Americans into ignoring the threat of jihad and to bully them into thinking that being concerned about the jihad threat would somehow victimize these nice people in this show.
The problem people have with Islam is its teachings of violence against and the subjugation of unbelievers. It is with the supremacist ideology and the fervent believers in those noxious doctrines of warfare and subjugation. Yhe ultimate danger posed by a program presenting the normal side of life for American Muslims is that it isnt accurate.
The danger is in the deception and obfuscation of the truth which results in the intellectual disarming of the American people.

LOL. I love your picture.
This is a tempest in a tea pot.
Halal requires beheading and 99% of turkeys are beheaded.
Big deal.
I have beheaded a few myself back in the day.
Turkey with sausage stuffing?
I got my turkey from a local Hutterite Colony (kind of like the Amish)..problem solved.
What are you, a buzz cop? We are having a tantrum here. Stay out of it. Don’t cloud the issue with facts.
A new Thanksgiving tradition-— to honor the Muslim tradition- we will all eat pork—and we will dine at a table set with those yummy pastry rolls invented to commemorate the defeat of the Muslim (I believe by a French Baker?) And we will Pray to the Almighty God our Founders believed in and we will pray in the Name and through the Merits of Jesus Christ as the Rev.J.Duche did Sept.7,1774 at close of divine service requested by Congress. But I will Not knowingly support Islamic Jihad nor stealth Shariah in this Christian nation.
No offense to the American Jews— but statement of where we came from -who we were established to be.(Oh and Jesus that Rabbi from Nazareth was a Jew)
Yep - unlike atheists who "get offended"ver God, I will not go nuts if someone "blesses" my food in the name of a non-entity.
+1...and then some. : )
As long as the bird doesn’t give me food poisoning on Thanksgiving, who really give a flying fig?
THANK YOU! If the turkey were blessed by Gaia, would people be this upset?
My brother works in the meat processing business. If you believe for one second they say ANYTHING when chopping the heads of a turkey or chicken you will buy a bridge.
Most of those guys don’t speak english or arabic, and the noise is so loud they just don’t talk.
Rest assured, your turkey was killed buy a good catholic hombre or baptist white boy.
What Butterball failed to say is that the process of killing any animal (be it by kosher standards or islamic standards or good ole’ back of the barn standards) is based on getting it done cleanly and quickly. Quickly is the operative word in a meat processing plant.
I can assure you that they are not praying over the million or so chickens and turkeys getting whacked every year.
Every once in a while they may fly in an imam to stand over the process and mumble. But the folks doing the killing are working too hard.
Buying Halal = donating to Islamic “charity” promoting Sharia law (according to another thread). I’ve bought my last Butterball.
“Impossible. Allah does not exist...”
Oh he exists alright, but we call him Satan.
1Cor.8
[1] Now as touching things offered unto idols, we know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffeth up, but charity edifieth.
[2] And if any man think that he knoweth anything, he knoweth nothing yet as he ought to know.
[3] But if any man love God, the same is known of him.
[4] As concerning therefore the eating of those things that are offered in sacrifice unto idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is none other God but one.
[5] For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords many,)
[6] But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.
[7] Howbeit there is not in every man that knowledge: for some with conscience of the idol unto this hour eat it as a thing offered unto an idol; and their conscience being weak is defiled.
[8] But meat commendeth us not to God: for neither, if we eat, are we the better; neither, if we eat not, are we the worse.
[9] But take heed lest by any means this liberty of yours become a stumblingblock to them that are weak.
[10] For if any man see thee which hast knowledge sit at meat in the idol’s temple, shall not the conscience of him which is weak be emboldened to eat those things which are offered to idols;
[11] And through thy knowledge shall the weak brother perish, for whom Christ died?
[12] But when ye sin so against the brethren, and wound their weak conscience, ye sin against Christ.
[13] Wherefore, if meat make my brother to offend, I will eat no flesh while the world standeth, lest I make my brother to offend.
Romans 14:
3] Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him.
[4] Who art thou that judgest another man’s servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.
[5] One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.
[6] He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks.
[7] For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself.
. . .
[13] Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother’s way.
[14] I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing to be unclean, to him it is unclean.
[15] But if thy brother be grieved with thy meat, now walkest thou not charitably. Destroy not him with thy meat, for whom Christ died.
[16] Let not then your good be evil spoken of:
[17] For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
[18] For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men.
[19] Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.
[20] For meat destroy not the work of God. All things indeed are pure; but it is evil for that man who eateth with offence.
[21] It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak.
[22] Hast thou faith? have it to thyself before God. Happy is he that condemneth not himself in that thing which he alloweth.
[23] And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.
