Sen Thune has been a tall conservative squish. I expected a little more fire in the belly from him when he beat Daschle but he’s rather milquetoast. Wish he would stop sending me letters to donate to him.... puhleease!

Is Thune bucking for VP? I have always liked him, but he just lost me.
Just talked with a businessman in NH who was thinking Cain, but now troubled about MSM smears. I told him they will smear all Repubs--just hanging back on Romney till he gets nominated, then watch out. He doesn't like Romney either--agreed he is just another political insider. He said he is thinking Cain after all, because he isn't a lifetime pol.

That’s good news if he is our nominee. You’ve got to want it and GOTV is critical if we want to beat Obama. I’m sorry to say that he’s our likely candidate v. Obama, but delighted to see that he’s taking the ground game so seriously.
