Seattle police have launched an internal investigation after a 19-year-old woman says she suffered a miscarriage after being pepper sprayed at an Occupy Seattle protest.
Jennifer M. Fox says police kicked her and hit her in the stomach with a bicycle Nov. 15 and also doused her with pepper spray. She says she was three months pregnant.
The Seattle Times says Fox has declined to provide medical records supporting her claim that she had a miscarriage five days after being hit.
Seattle police spokesman Mark Jamieson says the department is looking into the situation because of the seriousness of the allegations.
The Times reports that Fox's family doubts her story.
Her former foster mother, Lark Stebbins, says Fox has a history of exaggerating and never mentioned she was pregnant when they spoke recently.
There is a lot more to the story. Police suspect Fox may be the same woman who claimed she was pregnant two months ago when she was arrested in an incident unrelated to Occupy Seattle. SPD released a police report to KING 5 dated Sept. 22, 2011, showing that police responded to a report that five people were trespassing at a vacant building on Capitol Hill. According to the police report, a young woman in the group told the officer she was three months pregnant and began crying when arrested. That woman was arrested and transported to Harborview Medical Center.
Perhaps she should’ve taken better care of herself...
I don’t believe a word of anything the “protestors” say and as a witness I can attest to the fact that they all got exactly what they were asking for that night. They were completely out of control.
Sounds like mental illness to me. But then, everything about the OWS cult sounds like mental illness to me.

She knew that she was doing something illegal. She should know that pepper spray is commonly used to disperse unruly mobs. If she actually did have a miscarriage, then the blame is entirely hers and she needs to accept the responsibility that she caused the death of her own child because she thought it would be fun to pretend to be a hippie. Or worse, she is part of the majority of the OWS mob that hates Capitalism and wants communism and does not care that her agenda caused the deaths of 100 million plus and will likely cause the death of many millions more if the OWS bunch get their way.

Having had a miscarriage a few years ago I can’t image such a “yeah, oh well” attitude. I wouldn’t trust her or her allegation any further than I could throw her.
I read a thread on the DU. Many there are not buying the story either.
Interesting thing seems to be happening. The credibility of the OWS is weakened with every false claim of victim hood. Even the OWD supporters are seeing that the OWS fools are making a mockery of the movement. The longer it goes the more rabidly insane they get. This is driving the sympathetic away from their cause instead of toward it.

The only thing pregnant on that beast of a woman is her ego and that thing on her lip.
