Hosted by the Heritage Foundation and the American Enterprise Institute, the theme of tonight's Republican presidential debate is foreign policy and national security.
The debate is being held at Constitution Hall in Washington, D.C.
CNN is carrying the debate live at 8 p.m. EST.
Participating candidates are: businessman Herman Cain, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, Texas Gov. Rick Perry, former Speaker Newt Gingrich, Reps. Ron Paul (TX) and Michele Bachmann (MN), former Gov. Jon Huntsman, and former Sen. Rick Santorum.
I’m remembering that! :)
they ALL do that except Newt.
You just don’t notice it with the others.
Since National Security Debate stated, 2,349 illegal aliens from God knows where, entered the U.S.
I like the audience. The questions are reasonably good. Wolf is doing better than I expected.
Ann Coulter summed it up:
:In addition to having an affair in the middle of Clinton’s impeachment; apologizing to Jesse Jackson on behalf of J.C. Watts — one of two black Republicans then in Congress - for having criticized “poverty pimps,” and then inviting Jackson to a State of the Union address; cutting a global warming commercial with Nancy Pelosi; supporting George Soros’ candidate Dede Scozzafava in a congressional special election; appearing in public with the Rev. Al Sharpton to promote nonspecific education reform; and calling Paul Ryan’s plan to save Social Security “right-wing social engineering,” we found out this week that Gingrich was a recipient of Freddie Mac political money.”
What? No love for my boy, Paul? /sarcasm.
I’m rather shocked I had to!
Actually Heritage and AEI are asking most of the questions. Wolf is the moderator, which does give him control.
Why can’t some brave journalist ask Obama a tough question? He or She would be blacklisted by the White House.
wolf sucks, this debate is horrible...
Getting another beer ..☺
I guess the EU yet again wont be addressed.
I wasn’t knocking Palin ... but Newt has more experience in politics than she does. He wouldn’t be fishing for an endorsement from her talking about oil...because it’s not a new thing for Newt.
I agree. The moderator hasn’t been combative. It moves the debate.
Cain is never called on. It really seems deliberate.
I couldn’t agree more. Cain’s business and educational background (Math) is clearly evident in contrast the pro politicians when he answers questions. No doubt that “intellectuals” particularly from the liberal arts areas would see that as a deficiency.
Blitz has made it a boring night.
there is no comparison between Cain and Newt...
