Hosted by the Heritage Foundation and the American Enterprise Institute, the theme of tonight's Republican presidential debate is foreign policy and national security.
The debate is being held at Constitution Hall in Washington, D.C.
CNN is carrying the debate live at 8 p.m. EST.
Participating candidates are: businessman Herman Cain, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, Texas Gov. Rick Perry, former Speaker Newt Gingrich, Reps. Ron Paul (TX) and Michele Bachmann (MN), former Gov. Jon Huntsman, and former Sen. Rick Santorum.
Thats a totally different subject. Either way, this country is not going to do anything that disrupts second and third generation families. There will be many who self deport but those who have established themselves here for generations will be given some sort of legal path. Regardless of how each of us feels you can bet on it.
“...... what is the code word for legitimate worker program? “
Thank you. I get it. I jumped the shark and gave serious thought to something I should have ignored. Won’t happen again, unless I am this tired.
There is no such thing as a perfect system
to handle the current problem.
Newt’s system is fairly reasonable, while he will also
strengthen it with new systems to block future problems.
Yes.
6. Fine employers $ 1,000 per work day per illegal alien.
Haha, calling conservatives against ILLEGAL immigrants Nazis. I think you’d fit in well at DU and Dailykos.
Bachmann is super smart. She would make a strong VP.
“Is Wolf a Dem?”
DUH.
Newt is Pro-Amnesty. It may not be practical to deport 11 million people, but that shouldn’t be our going in (stated) position. Reagan took the same position 25-years back and we see where it got us.

Four months ago Alabama passed the toughest immigration enforcement law in the nation. The left-wing has been doing everything to keep the bill tied up in the courts. However, even before going into effect, the bill is working.
Six weeks ago USAToday said that illegal aliens were packing up and leaving Alabama. USAToday actually reported this as if it was a bad thing.
Now there is more good news for Alabama. Unemployment has dropped significantly. In October, the unemployment rate went from 9.8 to 9.3. This .5% drop is five times larger than the drop in the national average. Counties most known for illegal aliens saw the biggest drop. Marshall County, known for illegal aliens working at the chicken processing plants, saw unemployment drop .7% in October.
Just the knowledge that Alabama intends to enforce immigration law in the future has sent illegal aliens packing. Newt just replayed on CNN with the illegal issue.
If they rise up, they identify themselves. Makes deportation easier.
The Obama EPA has been after TX refineries among other things. Why Perry hates BO.
Only if done on a national scale, otherwise they simply move from state to state. And if that's done on a national scale do you really think 30 million people will simply submit to such without rising up in mass demonstrations?
Heck the governors and mayors couldn't handle the OWS protestors....a piece of cake by comparison if we start mass deportations. It would get worse than ugly and the politicians know this and why they will not ever agree to deporting them....or "make them uncomfortable enough to just leave"
