CNN was pushing Paul tonight. They must be trying to damage the Republican brand.

Because it benefits Israel, and gives cover for a strike on Iran.

An open ended commitment does no such thing, and it puts us in the position of having to shoot down all comers. We are not prepared to deal with the ramifications of doing so, and anyone who thinks so is speaking through their ten gallon hat. If a pilot punches out over Damascus due to mechanical troubles, how is he or she going to be rescued?

The over ten year no fly zone over Iraq was a disaster, and it did not prevent the massacre of the Marsh Arabs. It wore out our planes and our pilots, and made them targets daily. Massive stupidity, in my opinion.

Yes, Newt was a major FAIL on illegals. He just lost this campaign.

Then, as I said, ALL solutions begin with controlling the borders.

The reason CNN says that is because they think we’re stupid enough to go out and blindly vote based on their analysis. That, and to perpetuate the myth that conservatives are ignorant. And Paul isn’t even conservative.

Newt’s doubling down after the debate and repeating that it is hard to kick out long term illegals. Someone in his staff needs to whisper in his ear and tell him to stop keep putting his foot in his mouth

"Syrian oil represents less than 1 percent of daily global production but accounts for a vital portion of Syrian government earnings, which Western powers say could be used by Assad for a bloody military crackdown on the opposition."

Cain was right.

After talk:

Gingrich is still talking to Borger about ‘legalization’ of many illegals who have been here many years.

[Just like McCain and the Comprehensive Immigration folk, that is AMNESTY. You can call it ‘legalization’ or whatever you want, but it is still AMNESTY when illegals are given ‘legalization’.]

And 10, 11 or 12 million doesn’t begin to describe the problem. There are over 30 million illegals here.

Newt blew it tonight on immigration.

yes he did. I expect Newt to drop now. Cain will pick up. His answers were good tonight, especially the border!

He's the first one to shout that we need to enforce the laws currently on the books!

Newt is to the left of Cain, Bachmann, and Romney on immigration. Bachmann actually has the highest grade from NumbersUSA.
