Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney received a coveted endorsement Sunday from New Hampshire Republican Sen. Kelly Ayotte. Ayotte announced her support for Romney at a rally in Nashua, New Hampshire.
Ayotte believes Romney is the GOPs best chance to defeat President Barack Obama. I have been impressed by the amount of time Mitt Romney has spent in New Hampshire, holding open town hall meetings, answering the tough questions and listening to voters, Ayotte said in a Romney campaign press release. Ayottes popularity in New Hampshire should help Romney, who skipped a conservative Christian forum in Iowa Sunday where several of his competitors attended and spoke about their religious faith and how it shapes their view of politics.
Mitt Romney has proven through his experience as a successful businessman, effective governor, and by his excellent presidential debate performances that he is best prepared to lead our country and ensure Barack Obama is a one-term president, Ayotte said.

Let’s be real. Once elected to Congress, someone who is well-liked by the Tea Party has a choice: play ball or don’t play ball.
Play ball means doing things like Senator Ayotte did. She is making a calculated move, betting that Romney will be the winner. This will give her a huge chit she can call in from the Republican establishment, being the first Tea Party Senator to support Mittens. She will now be able to get reelection support from the Republican establishment, she will get memberships to committees, she can have her name attached to bills. She can “do” things in Congress and start a “political career”.
Don’t play ball means the newly elected member of Congress is “on the outside looking in” and won’t have any help from “the establishment”. So their reelection is precarious - and based totally on their popular support and making a much smaller support network of special interest groups and politicians where they filter out any supporters who are in conflict with Tea Party thinking. Not “playing ball” of course also means that they will keep their voting record “clean”, that is, never give in on a vote here and there to win some favors they can call in down the road.
From what I understand, many “Tea Party” freshman have decided to play ball. Power is tempting.
Perhaps Romney and Huntsman didn’t attend the religious gathering because they didn’t relish the thought of a bunch of Bible thumpers trashing their faith and condemning them to hell

“Bible thumpers”
Yeah that speaks volumes about your lack of regard for the Word of God and the readers...
There is also this ...
The God of the Bible which you disdain kept the 2 unbelievers away from the forum where His sons and daughters were honoring Him and upholding Him and His Word...
or did you yourself already think of that ???
God does know the future...
and He knew that both Romney and Huntsman would not have “sustained” His Word as Truth..
BTW the forum was wonderful...and edifying...
I was moved to tears with gratitude for those wonderful Christian men and woman on the platform...
They spoke of the LORD Jesus Christ, as they knew Him, personally as their Savior and God...
Romney needs to recruit a Tea Party Canidate to break his 25% ceiling. Look for Romney to choose a Sarah Palin wanna-be.
As I have said before - during the Prop 8 campaign, we Mormons stood side-by-side

and as I have said before - Im not impressed...dont waste your time...
and as I have asked before - what have your Mormons done against abortion ???
When have you Mormons ever “stood side-by-side” with Conservatives on AT LEAST January 22rd any year ???

Sandy is not gonna answer that one...
She never does...
And many here will fall for it.
Its a religious thing. I tasted a beer and tried a cigarette once, as a wayward teenager, and never did it again.
Run with it! This is a huge scandal! The shame of it. The flip-flop. The hypocrisy. The . . . . you get the picture.

“what have your Mormons done against abortion ???”
We vote pro life!!!

According to this, Romney helped her in her Senatorial Campaign. Its probably just pay-back.
Reading her views, she seems pretty conservative, although she opposed the Castle Doctrine law in New Hmpshire.
The entwined thread of moderation (Rockefellerism) that runs thru the GoP is what will kill it in the end.. and good riddance. It makes deals with the devil and the DNC.. and then fails to call them out for the sad predicaments it gets us in.
They say you can’t legislate stupidity,, , maybe not, but you can sure fund&support it whether you realize it as such or not.
The RMSP moderate munchkins are always recruiting. Heading into the primaries, voters should think carefully about how close to the cliff’s edge we are now.. and what it would take to push us of into the abyss.
As to Sean.. and filters.. I set mine to cancel out most of the egregiously biased stuff like more rino guests than you’d see in the Kruger game preserve.
If Romney wins, let’s see where she winds up, ummK?
what have your Mormons done against abortion ???
We vote pro life!!!

Now, you know Im not your average PC Mormon supporter and anti-Christian ..
Im a Bible believing Christian and a founding member of the Flying Inmen...
So I know to say to you...
1. What do mean when you boast “We vote pro life!!!”
2. When has there ever been a vote on abortion ???
3. How do you know for sure how other Mormons vote ???
4. 90% of Mormons voted for the anti-life abortionist Williard Mitt Romney ...
So therefore you arte INCORRECT when you boast “We vote pro life!!!”
even you alone (the Rpyal we) do not have a track record of voting “pro-life”
and as I have asked before - what have your Mormons done against abortion ???
When have you Mormons ever stood side-by-side with Conservatives on AT LEAST January 22rd any year ???
.
Also I would never vote for Romney but his religion has nothing to do with it.
Finally, Saundra Duffy has been a good FReeper and a good sport around here AND she was one of the very best against Schwarzenkennedy. She is NOT the enemy.
Saundra Duffy has been .....a good sport around here

They use us then abuse us.
You really like to play victim, don’t you?
You and Harry Reid ?...NOPE !
You and Mitt Romney ?.....NOPE !
You'd think Salt Lake would make it a priority to excommunicate these two for using their offices to facilitate the funding of murder of the unborn.
Maybe you'll run into one of them in the Temple, and you can ask them about it.
Okay, Saundra, put your conservative credentials up against me, right here, right now.
You support Massachusetts Romney, the most liberal republican primary candidate I have ever seen.
Guess what Saundra, one of these days, Salt Lake city is going to tell you to comply with the disarmament order, and you will comply.
Because you no longer think for yourself, you no longer have "conservative credentials".
"When our leaders speak, the thinking has been done."......
