BANGOR, Maine — Occupy protesters in Bangor, Aroostook County, Portland and Augusta all are readying themselves for a long winter’s stay as the municipal rules governing their occupations — and cold temperatures — increase.
They’re also brushing up on their knowledge of municipal regulations, and so are community officials.

Is there currently an ordinance against camping on city property? If so then yes they should get a permit. If no then let them stay and fight them with TRUTH. It might be harder but it is the right way to fight this. Law is crap and truth is truth.

These OWS (Obama World Squatters) are violating the LOITERING laws of EVERY city that they “camp” in.
So just stop it by enforcing, (with pepper spray if necessary), the local loitering laws.

Wait a second. Aren’t they already required to do this? Whenever we had a Tea Party rally we had to get permits, make sure the area was left clean and there was no camping out and disrupting traffic.
