Perhaps we should enforce the laws that say people who commit felony's cannot work in sensitive government positions. But then that would gut the FBI, ATF, DEA and Justice Department while reducing cross the border gun smuggling drastically.

As I understand the program that was ran under Pres. Bush, the guns had GPS trackers in them, the Mexican authorities knew about the program, and after some guns walked and could not be traced the program shut down.
On gun control Obama told Sarah Brady that: “”I just want you to know that we are working on it,” Brady recalled the president telling them. “We have to go through a few processes, but under the radar.””
To me that describes Fast and Furious to a tee.
