Dear MoveOn member,
Last week, a courageous group left the Occupy Wall Street camp in New York City and started marching to Washington, DC. Their goal was to bring the outrage and energy of the 99% directly to Capitol Hill. They're marching to call out the congressional Super Committee, which could cut a deal before Wednesday slashing Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid to protect tax breaks for the 1%.

lol... marching... Soros and the AFL-CIO is paying big bucks to bus those activists to DC
Nobody is allowed to camp in parks for months without permits either.
This is all part of the Obama2012 campaign...
I almost wish those fools would shut down the highway systems, three days of no trucks and the cities would start going hungry, then we’d see how popular the OWSers were with the general public! And the preppers would have the last laugh.
Should you be putting this message up on DU?
There are several FReepers who receive emails from the commies including myself in order to keep an eye out and inform everyone here. STD is just doing the same. I do it for one specific thread which I won't mention because I don't want to out myself as an informant :)
Just as there are sleeper FReepers who pretend to support FR but go to gutter sites and attack FReepers by name using our posts. The internet is ugly.
As Don Corleone said, keep your freinds close and your enemies closer.
Bullets? Really?
You want to shoot people for taking a stand against a government that’s ready to rip away what little they or their loved ones might have? Newsflash, some people don’t make enough to aquire a nice little “nest egg” and they live on peanuts once they have to retire. These are folks who for the most part have worked their entire lives and never took welfare. I applaud people who rise up and make their voices heard when they believe in something believe there is an injustice. Whether I agree with them or not.
The Man been keepin’ you down, Sister?
If they are able to get out and march like that in rather harsh conditions, they could get off their butts and get a job!
Sheesh!
I wonder how many of those marchers are on SSI for “bad backs”.

"...the Weathermen, when not engaged in group sex, committed such revolutionary acts as parading with a Viet Cong flag through a local park on Independence Day and spray-painting the walls of a high school with the slogans, "Off the Pigs," "Viet Cong Will Win," and "F#$k U.S. Imperialism."..."

Don't need no weatherman to see which way the Occupied wind blows.
Is this from the Onion, or what?
Fleabaggers marching fro YC to DC? If they make 10 miles before succombing to Latte deficiency syndrome, I’ll be flabberghasted.
ROTFLMAO!
How do you spell “Road Kill”?
Real bad move. DC commuters are the most pissy in all the world.
You ever driven in Seattle on a work day? Pissy is lite!
>> You want to shoot people for taking a stand against a government thats ready to rip away what little they or their loved ones might have?
Nah, I’d prefer they use napalm on ‘em. And let me tell you who’s ripping who. These pukes want the government to rip away the earnings of hardworking people to hand it over to the lazy. Excuse me but I’m not in favor of that.
>> Newsflash, some people dont make enough to aquire a nice little nest egg and they live on peanuts once they have to retire.
Newsflash, these aren’t retirees — they’re union pukes and college age punks stirred up by professional communist activists.
>> These are folks who for the most part have worked their entire lives and never took welfare.
That’s pretty funny! Who writes your jokes?
A few years back a guy decided to stand on the Wilson bridge(the DC beltway, the bridge that seperates Maryland and Virginia) and threated to jump. The cops stopped traffic on the beltway. A local radio station sent a reporter out to talk to people in their cars.
Little old ladies were cursing blue streaks, mild manner accountants were begging the cops to shoot the ba$%^%$, soccer moms in vans were offering tire irons to any pedestrian who would knock the f&*^&%$ off the G D bridge.
This is a tough crowd pard, any given day at best it’s a stressful commute. The least little thing will send people into a rage that scares even the cops. I would not want to be part of anything that dispupts traffic in DC during rush hour.
I don't think anyone will notice.
Did anyone inform the 80 MPH commuters?

On one of his ‘anniversaries’, his shrink thought it would be a good idea if he relived the moment to help him get over it.
Thankfully, some official with some gonads told them both they were crazy but think they ‘compromised’ and let them gather in the park UNDER the bridge.
As to the pin heads that trudged to Washington from NY (the writer comes close enough to comparing them to GW and Valley Forge - well he would have it he had any knowledge of history) if ‘we’ tell them there are no more than 3 or 4 people per car on highway, they could do some real ‘harm’ by standing on the railroad tracks....
