Wait till the conservatives actually try to cut anything, the left will be out in the streets by their tens of thousands and the public will melt and turn against the new government. We've seen this time and time again. Once the socialist disease becomes entrenched it is near impossible to get rid of it short of a total revolution followed by shock therapy to rip the parasitic remains out by the roots.
Never met a socialist in my life who wasn't a self-interested hypocrite. Marx was a lazy moron with an axe to grind and someone else’s money to support him, like so many of the idiots his ideology has spawned.
At least the Spaniards understood the steps to fixing their economic problems must start with tossing out the socialists. I have doubts as to whether Americans have that same level of understanding.

In Italy people overwhelmingly agree that cutting debt should be the top priority. But the same people don’t want any welfare spending cut.
