After having some of her behind the scenes shenanigans exposed, Nancy Pelosi has turned to her friends in the MSM to help her with damage control. The effect is something akin to watching what scrambles out after you overturn a large rock.
Pelosi sought to defend herself from allegations that she and her husband made millions from insider trading in what the Washington Post calls a wide ranging interview ...

"I'm a devout Catholic and I honor my faith and love it . . . but they have this conscience thing." (Emphasis added.)
This conscience thing? As in, they have one?
And she called Cain clueless?

Exactly!!!
“I’m a devout Catholic and I honor my faith and love it......”
I could be wrong on this, but taking communion while supporting the killing of babies, just might not be the sign of a devout Catholic honoring her faith.
We don’t have rails any more. Altar rails were removed from US churches in the 1960s.
“They” have a conscience thing. Sounds like she realizes she is not one of us anymore. The fact is she may have been born a Catholic. Perhaps even raised as one by devout parents. But in her unwavering support for unrestricted abortion, she has excommunicated herself, cutting herself off from the Church and its Sacraments. She has chosen worldly success over eternal salvation. Or more likely, she just does not believe anymore: in God, in good and evil, in life after death. People who really believe in a Living God that takes an interest in the affairs of humanity do not support dismembering innocent early stage humans. Her gods are power and money and she worships both faithfully.
This corrupt pig’s faith is not my faith, and mine is Catholic.
I'd had that "conscience" thought last week. As in, "lack of", concerning Obama and everyone with which he has surrounded himself. They all lie as easily as they breathe, Holder, Hillary, Nappy, Chu, and the rest.
Solyndra, Gunwalker, whatever. Trillions disappear, hundreds die, "I don't recall, I have no knowledge of that..."
I don't know nuthin'.
“My favorite word is The Word!”
Nancy, if I’m not fooled by your BS neither is God Almighty!
I remember when I was a child there was a Jiminy Crickett about conscience. I can’t remember the details, but I think there was a good creature telling someone to do the right thing, and a bad creature trying to tempt him to do the wrong thing. Seemed there was a little song to go along with it.
Nancy as long as you defend the so called right to abortion you are not a devout Catholic.I’d bet by claiming to be and then voting for this practise that there just may be a special spot in H*LL for you.
“She is NOT a devout Catholic. Devout Catholics, by definition, accept the techings of the church and the pope. Abortionists need not apply. If she lived anywhere but San Francisco, the local bishop would most likely have already excommunicated her.”
So if this is true, and I share your belief that it is, just where is HER BISHOP? Has the Catholic Church devolved into a franchise operation where the local bishop decides on his own who gets kicked for heressey and who doesn’t? The Pope needs to look farther out his window in the Vatican and see just what his “leaders” are up to.
I think Nancy needs to go to Mass more—only take the wax out of her ears and listen up to the priest. Learn what her faith is all about. Learn what so many Catholics believed and why they died over the centuries. Its about right and wrong.
Wow, Nancy, maybe it’s time to get on your private, taxpayer paid jet and zip over to Rome and play “Katy Catholic” for the pope again. Just put a hanky on your head, act all pious, and make sure there is a camera making a video of it.
My experience in Catholicism dated from 1961-62. My mom wanted to sing in the choir, and I think, being non-Catholic she had to take instruction, which turned out to be educational for me as I read ¨Father Smith Instructs Jackson¨, met a few good priests and generally had a great time. The ¨rail¨ aspect probably comes from my varied experiences in Protestant churches, which were also quite interesting. Though I´m a non-Jewish Jew these days, in synagogue about half of the year. I´m so grateful for what I deem a great religious overview to this point. May the rest of my life be even half as exciting.
God´s grace to You and Yours....
I hope she repents, even if late in the “game.”
Last time she tried that the Vatican refused to have any cameras present, they knew what she was up to.
That would be the heavily edited and abridged version of the Bible, correct?
Apparently Almighty God tolerates it as well since San Fran Nan hasn’t been struck by a bolt of lightning. He is after all the inventor of free will and allowing people to send themselves to hell.
She has been, latae sententiae.
