On the eve of the Occupy Wall Street protests, its useful to take a look at its legacy. There are plenty of ways to measure the depravity that weve seen during the past several months, but its simplest to focus on the following themes: arrests, assaults, death and disease plus the financial burden that the rest of the country has to shoulder in order to clean it all up:
Number of arrests: 3,621 (via Occupy Arrests )
Number of deaths: 4 one murder, one suicide, one suspected drug overdose and one mystery.
Number of sexual assaults: At least seven that have been reported to police. And there are signs that many may have gone unreported.
Number of contagious outbreaks: Seven, including tuberculosis, ring worm, Parvo, scabies, respiratory sickness, head and body lice, and fleas.
Cost of Occupation: At least $12,625,000. Thats just including the latest police and/or cleanup estimates from the following cities that have released the information: Oakland, New York City, Portland (here and here), L.A. (here and here) Philadelphia, Seattle, Boston and Denver. The actual numbers from the other cities, public service costs, and business costs not included could, and probably will, end up making this much higher.
Now its up to public officials to make sure those numbers dont continue to rise.
Here is the website to track arrests. For some reason, the link did not post.

Only 3,621?...Can’t we do better people?
I’m wondering what new strains of STD’s we’ll be faced with after this BS is over and done with. The DNC has money, let them pony up for the cost; $12 million is a drop in their bucket.

Number of contagious outbreaks: Seven, including tuberculosis, ring worm, Parvo, scabies, respiratory sickness, head and body lice, and fleas.I walked by that park one time, just to have a look. Half way down the sidewalk I decided I'd rather cross the street and walk on the other side. I didn't know about all these outbreaks... but I just had a feeling: keep away, keep away, keep away.
and yet the MDM is still trying to frame this as an important expression of regular people’s frustration.
When they show any violence they try to show it as though the police are the ones being violent.
I would like o see what the average fine was or how much time they spent in jail/
I would bet $100 would be a large fine ans 12 to 14 hrs a long time in jail.
That doesn’t help much, 30 days at hard labor would break this crap up in a hurry,.
now I wonder why the crap we call the media is not asking the white house and the Dems if they still support this violence, anarchy etc?
MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM I wonder.
New Yorkers on their way home and to work were giving these flea infested loons abuse back.
They’ve pissed most of the country off with their baby tantrum antics.
The message?
OK! Now, where is “Commentary” Magazine getting these numbers?
I don’t doubt them, just curious about the source.
Anyone have a tic-tac?
12 million $ is a VERY modest estimate. More likely much closer to a billion $ or more once the complete charade is tallied.
That’s the cost of police. They’ll never factor in the cost of all the business lost from people who didn’t have access to their usual clientele because paying customers declined to wade through the filth.

Update: arrests now pushing 4000, at 3914.
Don’t kid yourself, the police were/are under orders from the White House not to interfere or disrupt the mob[s].The relatively few arrests were for show only. My advice still would be: If you live in work, or have a business in one of the affected areas is to leave. You may just have the clothes on your back and your ass, but if you stay , you won’t have that. There is a group about 30 miles from where I live [occupy Tampa] and I stay the hell away from there. But, when they come to where I am tearing doun my house and breaking my windows. That will be a horse of a different color.
I totally blame the instigator in chief (odumbo) and all the libtard mayors for this going on as long as it has. When the president says he sympathizes and understands the protestors it just throws gasoline on the flames.
I firmly believe zero wants this to escalate till he has to declare martial law to quell it. Then you better watch out folks!!!
