If he catches on, he might poll 3% instead of 2%.
Actually, he's polling between 6-10% in NH and is advertising aggressively there.
If Romney can't win convincingly in NH, he's done for.

Huntsman is in NH every week. It is the only state he is competing in as he is skipping IA and SC.
Last poll shows him at 7%. If he finishes third, maybe he lives for another week. I guess his strategy is that if Milt melts completely, he will continue on vs. Newt ... but even then, Newt, Cain, Paul will have 3 candidates going the distance ... so I cannot see the Huntsmen getting any traction even if he is successful.
He has run an interesting campaign in rural NH. The problem is that candidate is dull. And a “moderate-liberal” who won’t call himself a conservative.

Well, I only want him to be successful to the extent that he can pull the rug out from under Romney. Beyond that, he can crash and burn. I certainly don't want him as the nominee.
I hear his PAC is running an anti-Romney ad. I'd love to see it if you have a link. Haven't been able to find it yet.

Day 48 Of The FReepathon
Do you Know Why?
There are loyal posters that donate every FReepathon. Some donate several times during every 'thon. But others never donate. Why?
1 My enemies haven't been zotted.
2 The owner doesn't support my candidate.
3 FR won't "upgrade" to "Like" buttons and blinky crap.
4 Someone else will donate.
5 My friend was zotted.
6 I lost my job and have no income.
Only one of those is a legitimate reason.

Huntsman does have a knack for a crafted phrase.
But his delivery is awful. Whenever he slams someone with a clever insult, he has a look on his face that says, “Look, I just said a funny.” Reminds me of a dopey, unpopular 11-year-old who just wants to fit in with the other kids and, so, tries to say something that will make the other kids laugh.
That and he is so unmanly.

They are NOT 1st cousins. They are 3rd cousins, once removed. Not a lot of love lost between the two at the moment, it seems.

Not strictly true that. Huntsman has, as you point out, worked New Hampshire harder than any other candidate. The numbers attending his Town Hall meetings are on the rise, his Super PAC only started airing the first pro-Huntsman ad a couple of days ago. The ad trumpets his conservatism. It’s all about his conservatism.

His positions are conservative, sans his belief in global warming, but then again his energy position negates that.

Huntsman is not left of Mitt. Actually, you could make a strong case that he is to the RIGHT of Perry and Newt.
Look at his record as governor and his positions on issues now. Don’t get caught up in his rhetoric - that is nothing more than posturing. Personally, I’d rather have a true conservative who speaks like a moderate, rather than a moderate who speaks like a conservative....which is what we have in the GOP primary to a large degree.
