He wants to keep his iPad 2, naturally, and not share it with the shiftless vagrants fighting over access to one of the three Porta-Potties recently delivered to the now-evacuated camp site in lower Manhattan.

He sounds no different than a Supreme Court that says that "public good" is the same as "public use."

What is interesting to me is that my daughter graduated in 2010 and has a job, a good job. Her boyfriend graduated the year before and has a job. In fact, all of her friends have jobs and aren't whining about rich folks having more than they have - they are working to get more stuff!
Guess where you won't find a job? Squatting in Zucotti Park without a bath or clean clothing.

This is the actual distinction between the classical definitions of “socialism” and “communism”. In a socialist state the means of production, capital goods, i.e. farmland, real estate, factories etc are all owned by the state and personal property like cars, clothing etc are owned by individuals. In a pure communist state everything is owned by the state. The dammed fool is a socialist by self definition and an ass by general consensus.

Ah, I see how it is...
Sharing is only when it's sharing THE OTHER GUY'S STUFF not your own.
If the OWS bum were to scrimp and save for a home or to start a business I'm guessing that he wouldn't want to share it with unwashed, gamer, rapist, pedophile, lice-ridden, Communist, science-hating Cap n’ Trade Tax advocating AGW proponents either.

The DIQ (dumass in question) actually showed up on the human events comment board to state that his distinction between personal and private property was valid, and everyone else should look it up (implying that everyone else was ignorant).
Well, I DID go look it up. The distinction is only valid in a Marxist/Socialist/Anarchist view of the world. Your “personal property” would be things like your clothes, your ipad (of course), your car, etc.
“Private” property, to them, refers to capital property, or means of production, that is owned by an individual as a means of enriching himself.
So, what about your house? What about a personal computer on which you produce intellectual property?
It just goes to show you, that which passes for “wisdom” among arrogant men is absolute foolishness under God’s laws.

That’s because they don’t want jobs. They want hand outs. God forbid they have to earn their way through life.

In the picture, notice the Che Guevara flag.
I have a t-shirt with Che’s face inside a crossed-out circle. On ocassion, I wear it around town.
I was once asked what I had against Che.
I said, ‘Nothing, the low life scum is dead’.
