Sandusky horror story continues to get more disturbing

Sandusky got out of jail for free.
An unsecured bond is merely a promise -- that's all Sandusky had to give, a promise -- that the defendant will show up in court. If he doesn't show up, he'd be on the hook for $100,000. By then, the defendant could be in Costa Rica.
The judge who set Sandusky free for free? Her name is Leslie Dutchcot. She has volunteered with Sandusky's charity, The Second Mile, the one that allegedly provided him a hunting ground for victims.
Sandusky capitalized on that, too. While he was out of jail -- not wearing the monitoring device prosecutors wanted him to wear, a request former Second Mile volunteer Leslie Dutchcot declined -- Sandusky helped his defense team find one of the alleged victims.
Can you believe that?
Sandusky's attorney, Joe Amendola, told Costas on Monday night that someone from the defense team -- Amendola didn't specify who; it could have been Sandusky himself -- has been in contact with the child known as alleged Victim Two.
"So you found him, the Commonwealth has not?" Costas asked.
"Yeah. Interesting, isn't it?" Amendola replied.
No. Not interesting -- it's horrifying. Presumption of innocence is one thing, but contacting an alleged victim before the trial? Horrifying. The idea that Sandusky or his people were able to talk to the alleged victim, influence the child's testimony, even persuade him not to cooperate at all ... it's beyond comprehension that such a thing could happen.

Go Penn(itentiary) State.
Pedophile State University?
I heard that PSU is trying to get out if any libility for what happen.
Acepting NO responsibility for anything.
It’s quite possible the judge is following standard procedure. I would like to know what her record is dealing with similar suspects. Unfortunately, the media doesn’t report this minor detail. If she’s treating him like everyone else then I don’t have a problem with her decision. I can see why she let him out. If he’s not a flight risk (if he flees, where is he going to go where no one would recognize him?) and has no previous record then it doesn’t make financial sense to jail him, which involves round-the-clock protection, paying for meals and meds, etc. Now, if he’s getting special treatment, then that’s a different story.
By contacting victim #2 - Sandusky just affirmed the veracity of the charges.
He read the complaint - recognized the activities described and knew which child he abused on that date, in that place, under those circumstances.
He just convicted himself.
Checkmate!!!!
She should have disclosed the tie at the very least, recusing herself would have been best. Also, Sandusky was not required to put any money down to get bail, and was not required to wear a monitoring device despite the fact there’s an elementary school behind his house. Dutchcot was way out of line on this one.
I think this is more about the sodomite mafia than it is about sports. Look at Graham Spanier: he was Mr. Gay Agenda.
his coaching pays well, but what pays even better? Books, speeches, clinics. There is a fortune in Penn State logo items from clothing to shot glasses - many products with JoePa’s likeness.
Absolutely correct.
good article with one scary correction.
He doesn’t live less than a half mile from the school. His property borders the playground.
No monitoring ankle bracelet.
No money down for bail.
They are openly admitting to contacting victims - a violation of his bail “agreement”
Does this get any worse?
Maybe if he was a serial killer it would be worse.
Other than that...
Thanks. I figured as much as I've been unable to find a story that said what her party affiliation was. If she'd been a Republican it would have stated so 3 times in the first paragraph.
IMO, it is an extremely low probability that as a homosexual pederast Sandusky was operating solo. Such criminals have a group, or a web of like-acting associates.
At Penn State, it sure does. I am sure JoePa was making at least $5 Million per year. That’s what you get when you can convince 110,000 people to watch you work for a large sum of money.
Incredible.
And last I knew, Spanier is still a tenured prof at PSU. He could teach there.
