Rep. Michele Bachmann hit former Speaker Newt Gingrich hard on Wednesday for receiving consulting fees from mortgage giant Freddie Mac, but it turns out Bachmann herself received campaign contributions from The Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation’s (Freddie Mac) political action committee during the 2007-2008 cycle.
“While [Gingrich] was taking that money, I was fighting against Fannie and Freddie,” Bachmann said on Wednesday.
It turns out that while she was “fighting” them, she was also taking their money.

Any idea exactly what Bachmann claims she did to ‘fight them’ and when?
The difference between a campaign contribution to a sitting Congresswoman and a consulting contract with a former Congressman is the Congresswoman can vote for your interest and the Congressman has to write occasional reports (none of which, to my knowledge, have surfaced from Newt, hence his stance that he was NOT a lobbyist). If one surfaces, that will be different..

Paul above scandal, hypocrisy, and corruption? LOL. It is funny how his fans make a Christ like character out of him, but he was ridden with scandal, hypocrisy and corruption while most of these other politicians were still in diapers.
You should look up some time what happened in his 1988 campaign, why he and Lew Rockwell were locked out of their own offices by the Libertarian Party (locks changed and all) and why they had staffers thrown in jail.
Except that Ron Paul believes our actions caused 9/11 and he is for legalizing pot hence the crazed lunatic following.

Here’s the problem: People are beginning to use similar arguments for their decision to not vote for Cain, and now for Newt. Apparently to a growing number of FReepers, four more years of Obama is more acceptable than some of our GOP candidates.
This is why I’m beginning to believe that our party like our country is dying from within. I think we’ve already doomed ourselves for this next election.

Michelle didn't take money from Fannie Mae. She took money from contributors who gave their own money to the PAC.

Sorry, but i just don’t believe that you believe that she manually reviews and approves every campaign dollar contributed to her campaign, especially before Soros pulled the plug on our economy.
Perry still has the cash and the fire in the belly. He also has the real jobs record to beat Obama with. He also has the military background to beat Obama with. He also has the governing experience and social conservatism to beat Obama with.
