So? He got paid a fee for consulting? I suppose we’d feel better if he worked for free?
I say everyone who took money from Fannie and Freddie has to step down from their office today.
Yup, exactly right.
Thread # 45 on the topic..................
>>Before Gingrich was hired, Freddie Mac paid $2 million to a Republican consulting firm to kill legislation that would have regulated and trimmed both companies.
The $2 million was money well spent. The legislation died without ever coming to a vote on the Senate floor. But the danger of regulation wasn’t dead, so Freddie Mac hired more consultants, Gingrich among them.<<

Gee, leftist hack, Pete Yost, pukes up yet another hit piece on a Republican, using un-named sources, for the leftist CSM and here it lands in the middle of Free Republic. Wasn’t there anything in Pravda?
No we would feel better if he was ethical and didn’t work with them at all. This guy has more baggage then a full flight to Europe. Right now it is all kisses and sunshine but just you wait.....they have more ammo than the United States Army. If he is the nomination, we will LOSE this election 100 percent for sure!!!!!
OK, if not Newt, just whom do you support? Newt is one hundred times smarter than Obama and would wipe the floor with him in the debates, and he would be a much better president. There is no perfect candidate out there. I’ll take Newt with his warts and all over some of those other clowns any day.
If this is true...then what? All these d@mn politicos are complicit.
