Seems like an inconvenient quote for the new socialist left now.
The rich are job creators, Our elected offical are the robber barons who have special rules for themselves that do not apply to the average person.
“Moron liberal socialist” is a doubly redundant phrase, as each of the terms is a definition for the other two.
That said, it is NOT the business of government to “take care” of people. Once you are able to stand upright and feed yourself, more and more of the responsiblity shifts from others to yourself, until that magical age of eighteen, when presumedly you become a practicing adult.
But some never make the transition, and fail to launch, recoiling from personal responsibility as if it were the face of the devil. Which for some, it may be, as they have never had opportunity to LEARN responsibility, at any level.
But alas, so many reach the magical age of eighteen, and the mark of that rite of passage is the exercise of the franchise to vote.
One person, one vote, one way, one time.
It’s really too bad that it has become possible to actually impose their ideas on us through the political process.
This makes a violent resolution to the conflict more inevitable.
Not inconvenient at all, if you’re rich or a producer, you can do for your country by giving all your money to the gubmint for fair distribution.
Sounds like the putz has been camping out with the “occupiers” a bit too long...
