"The Health Care Innovation Challenge will award up $1 billion in grants to applicants who will implement the most compelling new ideas to deliver better health, improved care and lower costs to people enrolled in Medicare, Medicaid and CHIP, particularly those with the highest health care needs." "Awards will range from approximately $1 million to $30 million for a three-year period. Applications are open to providers, payers, local government, public-private partnerships and multi-payer collaboratives."

It is a fabrication and creation of the creatures who thought the thing up.
“Get rid of obozocare and obozo”
Where’s my billion?
Isn’t it great that we have all these slush funds just sitting around?
The winners have all been picked from a list of pre determined donors.
These will go to the 0bamites’ organziations and companies...just like the energy dept. gave $$$$ to the greenie cronies. And the education lobbies...and the unions. Payola, courtesy of you and me. Short of getting rid of 0bama and obamacare, this will continue.
The govet./treaury had a little known Fed controlled bank that moved the money to the green energy companies...look for Giethner to have a similar pocketbook away from government scrutiny to fund these lames.
Take medical benefits away from those that worked for years as productive tax paying citizens because to the Marxist leftists dems etc they are now just useless eaters, not contributing anymore but just collecting their just rewards for hard work.
Already dental benefits have been stripped from medicare, and they are charging for some prescriptions that medicare used to pay the full amount for.
They also continue to reduce payments for those permanently on SSI because of handicaps that cannot be overcome.
One person I am familiar with has had benefits reduced 75 bucks in the last couple of years.
If they instead got rid of the fraud and corruption they could save billions.
A lot of people on SSI and welfare are young people capable of working but it's easier to get free money from the government.
Plus it's part of the vicious cycle of dems giving money to the freeloaders and them in turn voting liberals back in to keep the flow going.
Shades of ACORN and dem politics.
Little dribs and drabs in context do NOT help the reader form any idea of what the hell is being discussed here.
Certainly not chestnuts like this one (from the link):
Note: All prime awardees must provide a Dun and Bradstreet (D&B) Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number in order to be able to register in the Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Subaward Reporting System (FSRS) as a prime award user. Further, registration with the Central Contracting Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov is also required in order to apply. Please refer to the FOA for further application information.
We are conservatives! We are not K Street drones and bookworms, we are not Beltway trolls, we are not Issue People at some godforsaken NGO somewhere!!
Just damn!
Sheesh lentulusgracchus, just link to the site./sarcasm///
But when you do, know you will be tracked and your IP address will be noted.
I did. Why do you think I was reduced to asking elementary questions?
It was all insiders talking to other insiders about yet-other insiders and their inside-of-insideness. Very warm and comfy.
No prisoners!
Thanks for the reply.
Dealing with the Feds, in any way, is rarely pleasant or simple. Far too many people in government make their living by ensuring simple things become very complicated, very quickly.
They call the entire process “ensuring continuity”.
Normal people (those whose livelihoods do not depend on government paychecks) call it graft, waste, corruption and incompetence.
You probably looked at the same page I did, and became confused because you had no idea how to deal with the blatantly obvious true nature of our wastefull government.
Yes, they really are that bloated and stupid.
And no, there is no logical reason for funding approximately 60% of current non-DOD government “jobs”.
