Just another liberal pundit who can't think of anything positive to say about our president. The solution is to recycle tired material about Republican candidates. The left doesn't want Romney because he is the most liberal (John Huntsman is). They want Romeny because they know he will have the hardest time making this election about Obamacare.

My guess is that his history of marital fidelity has only been highlighted enough by Democrats to remove him as Speaker. Just-enough, Just-in-time is the Democrat tactic with a surefire ability to escalate as needed at a time of their choosing.

His personal failings are not singular, i.e., not just one instance. Couple that with other potential failings by "Callista" (of which never was openly investigated AND reports)...

I'd say some dirty diapers are waiting in the wings for Newt.
