I’m a Cain supporter and donor. I am very disappointed by this turn of events. He didn’t come off well and we risk him losing to the worst president in our history. Foreign policy will be the subject of the DC debate in a week. We shall see if Cain can develop foreign policy chops by then.

Then say hello to “Four More Years” because Obama will crush their guy like a bug.

I’m done with the election for POTUS. It’s all about the Senate noW.

Your not a St. Louis conservative, you sound more like a St. Louis RINO. Every time the media plays gotcha, people like you jump. Why would Libya be on the top of Cain’s mind? They did the same thing with Bush and naming world leaders name.

He falls back to a thoroughly biblical principle. Most know that the kind of advisors he will get won’t be anything like Obama’s czars either.

Darn it, we look like we got a candidate here who won’t shoot from the hip.

—were a bunch of platitudes about getting good advice before making a decision. Frequently, his answers on topics that he doesn’t really know much about focus on a few points of process, on getting quality advice, on not needing to know everything in advance, and so on. —

That is exactly why I like him. A leader does not know everything, but they know where to get the info they need when making a decision. It does not matter whether the leader is a business man or a politician.

Carter “knew it all” and look how effective that was.

Herman Cain is definitely ready for the Presidency of the United States.

A man who has overcome RACIAL DISCRIMINATION, cancer, poverty, and the corporate world and has worked his way through college and graduate school is ready for anything.

The Democrat Party and its operatives are also ready--FOR A LYNCHING!

Remember: The Democrat Party is the party of slavery, Jim Crow, segregation, the KU KLUX KLAN, RACIAL DISCRIMINATION, AND LYNCHING!

In the 21st century, the Democrat Party elected the Grand Dragon of the Ku Klux Klan, Robert Byrd, to be Democrat Party Majority Leader in the United States Senate!

The Democrat Party has not changed its stripes one iota!

Those thugs are ready all right! FOR A LYNCHING!

These thugs will stop at NOTHING!

Herman Cain is an authentic American hero. He embodies the American Dream.

The willingness of self-serving Democrat Party political thugs to try to destroy him--and to use any means, no matter how vile--merely reveals how vile and indecent the Democrat Party is.

..the wave of unfounded charges did not work. The next tactic is the subtle suggestion that he is not smart enough to be president.

You know what that borders on.

You and the GOP establishment are grossly underestimating this man--and overestimating your own candidates...

Cain calls to mind another man who was "not ready for prime time" and "not ready for the Presidency: Harry Truman!

He turned out to be one of the greatest Presidents in American History!

Do not buy the vile propaganda of the Democrat Party!

Here we go again. You are following the liberal pied piper right over the cliff. We say we don’t want to elect a professional politician but turn on the regular guy when he does not come off like a politician. So what,Cain does not know everything about foreign policy, he will have people to brieg him when he needs it. We must stop throwing our best candidates overboard at the drop of a hat. The lib media are going to select the GOP candidate, just like they did with McCain. Remembef how that worked out?

Cain is ready. Far more ready than Barrack Obama ever was.

He loves America and knows the principles upon which she is built and has exercised those in the private sector to great success. I believe he will do the same as President and we will be better in all areas (economy, socially, foreign policy, defense, immigration, energy, etc.) as a result.

He is qualified according to the Constitution and I trust the man. That’s enough to this point for me.

He will have to gaffe and fail a whole lot worse than he has to lose my vote.

I have never seen a videotaped session with local reporter like this. Typically candidates sit down with print reporters for an hour or two, shoot the breeze and then give their official positions on matters, which are then reported. What is this new gotcha videotaping of these sessions? Cain was not preparing for a debate. Michelle Malkin and many on FR are judging Cain far too harshly over this nonsense. I would love to see videos of Obama in 2007 in such sessions, where his handlers probably whispered stuff repeatedly in his ear (not that any such video would ever have been released). Once again the media is trying to tear a good Republican down, and we are helping them. Mitt Romney is very happy about it.

Herman Cain will not be the nominee. It’s just not going to happen. He is nowhere even close to ready for the job. I don’t think he’s even thought about many of the issues he’d have to deal with. Cain has bluffed his way this far using his motivational speaking skills, but it is apparent he doesn’t have the slightest clue what he’s talking about on issues such as Libya.

Cain detractors are so sad. Especially here where I would hope integrity matters. The other viable candidates, especially Newt, are proven phonies. It’s really irrelevant how nice they sound because their word means nothing. Cain isn’t perfect but at least his word is worth something.

I’ll take a supposedly ‘not ready’ Cain over any of the career politicians that constitute the rest of the field. Polished career politicians are what got us into this mess. And they sure as hell aren’t going to fix it.

This same story has appeared on FR earlier today. Talk about piling on.

Anti-Cain FReepers are mindless, eager to lap up the crap spewed by the MSM, who want to manipulate us into choosing Romney.

And anti-Cain FReepers are going to facilitate that. Good job.

I think the fact that he came out against an attack on the Iranian nuclear program has more to do with his falling poll numbers than the aging bimbo puppet show.
