Results from new poll of GOP primary voters from Democratic firm Public Policy Polling: Newt Gingrich (28 percent), Herman Cain (25 percent), Mitt Romney (18 percent), Rick Perry (6 percent), Michele Bachmann and Ron Paul (5 percent), Jon Huntsman (3 percent), Rick Santorum and Gary Johnson (1 percent).
One particularly interesting note from PPP: Theres reason to think that if Cain continues to fade, Gingrich will continue to gain. Among Cains supporters 73 percent have a favorable opinion of Gingrich to only 21 percent with a negative one.

>> “Newt needs No learning curve which Cain clearly does” <<
.
Newt certainly needs no learning curve to be a globalist, socialist back-stabbing traitor. He’s well qualified to do that.
Cain would need to learn how to trample on our constitution, make under the table agreements to fund democrat opponents to defeat conservative congressmen, foist globalist, sovereignty destroying trade treaties on us, and sit on Nancy’s couch writing job killing environmental reghulations.
Cain is our man!
I can't see that happening...what Politician is ever going to do what's necessary based on what you've stated in your post? They all play lip service to the "problem" which apparently isn't the problem the American people believe it to be in their eyes.
Well that's pretty obvious...as well as who isn't. But I disagree who of the two is the better man to get the job done.
I tend to think they will both be in Washington when all is said and done.
If we require employers to E-verify and fine those employers who have hired illegals...
And if we deny benefits to illegal aliens...
...90% of those 11 million will be on the other side of the border within weeks.
Then -- and only then -- do we need to discuss what to do about the remaining million-or-so.
>> “We are not going to deport 11 million people, Gingrich said” <<
.
Grinchrich wouldn’t deport any. He’s for dissolving all national borders, and establishing global tyranny seated in Europe.
We have between 30 million and 35 million illegal aliens here disrupting our society in infinite ways. We have to establish firm enforcement against all who hire them, and allow the illegals to self deport as they did in the ‘50s.
Ginrich is the worst of all the candidates. We need to work on getting him behind bars for his crimes, not turn the country over to him to finish the job he started.
I agree there are things we can do to make it very uncomfortable for them to come here....I'd personally like to see Mexico's policy on any who enter their country applied here.
But as you say...it's the "then"...to do with those remaining that will have the politicians and bureaucrats deadlock..again....so the very issue of ammnesty or not for illegals here will never go away. Round and round it goes.
As I have said before I am not 100% supportive of where Newt stands on the issues but I can vote for him knwoing he can begin what needs to be done and that with some degree of speed and the knowledge of how to get it all thru the congress...I can live with four years of Newt to get the ball rolling....

I am watching the Greta interview with Cain’s wife.
It is a disaster.
Now, I am scared to support Cain.
His wife does not seem to support him by her words, and body language.
Why in the world did his campaign allow this to happen.
Jumping on the Newt train...
You never gave a reason to support Newt, just a reason not to support Herman.
Yes, I am comfortable with someone lacking in political experience, if it means getting someone with the business and common sense experience of Herman Cain.
One word, trust. If Cain can turn around Godfather’s Pizza, he can turn around America.
He’s supported anthropogenic global warming. Why on earth would we hand him the reigns?
And bouncing Jim Wright. And taking control of the House for the first time in 40 years. And balancing the budget. And reforming welfare.
Don't let the facts get in they way of a good hate, though!
Hey Newt's not perfect. But he's done more on behalf of the conservative movement than anyone else in the race can say. Who has ACCOMPLISHED more? Cain? Myth? Santorum?
The fact of the matter is that he's the smartest and has the best track record. You may have a bug about his divorces or sitting on the couch with Nancy or whatever. I don't like it either.
But frankly I don't care if he had carnal knowledge with a series of farm animals....I want to see him debating Filth next fall!

>> “You assert that Newt’s positions on energy are the same as dems?” <<
.
Exactly the same.
Perhaps you’ve forgotten how Newt was the big supporter of ANWR?
And how nothing got done during his stint as speaker to correct any of the energy foot-dragging?
You don’t get to be the ‘smartest man’ in the room by not making baffling, baffling decisions.
You never supported Cain, you were always on the (newt) traitor train.
Newt is filth. - Globalist, socialist, environmentalist, aisle crossing filth.
Look back on my posts, I was for Cain in the past.
I am still borderline for Cain.
His wife did not do him any favors tonight.
Interesting. Here’s a take on his “turnaround” of Godfather’s. Hint: Maybe the record is not quite as rosy as Cain says.
We’ll just have to agree to disagree. I haven’t toppled any Dem speakers...obviously you have.
