Gen Y and Gen X get it right on the environment; old folks don’t

Generation Y is more likely than older generations to support clean energy and environmental protection and to believe climate change is happening and is caused by human activity, according to new Pew polling and analysis. Generation X is close behind. Boomers aren't so bad either. It's the old folks, the so-called Silent Generation aged 66-83, that are the big problem.
There's long been talk about how gay rights will continue to advance as homophobic old codgers die off. Looks like the push for a cleaner, greener society will get a boost from that same cohort replacement effect.

A whole silly article and 85 comments from lefty readers, and it never occurs to a single one of them that maybe wisdom may be correlated with age and experience.

Expect to hear more and more of this stuff, along with “old folks cost a lot in health care, and old folks are hoarding all the money in their retirement accounts, etc.”. Pretty soon euthanasia will be mandatory once someone hits 70.

IMHO, it's going to have to reach that point before they start paying attention.

This article shows the effectiveness of brainwashing in the school system. Naturally they believe it. It has been pounded into their heads throughout their entire lives via the education system.
A friend of mine told me that his classmate became a Federal Judge. He still believed that the atom couldn’t be split, even after the nuclear bomb era. Why? He was taught that in school. He believed it until the day he died.

There's long been talk about how gay rights will continue to advance as homophobic old codgers die off.Like the way they've advanced on the campus of Penn State, right?
Instead of sitting around waiting for people to die, gutless hispters, why don't you put down your iPhones, get off your asses and come get all of us wrong thinking folks. Otherwise, shut you dependent traps and get a f***ing job.
To: stilloftyhenight
Its a perfect system. Brainwash them all through school and continue the lies via the MSM to keep them stupid (controlled) the rest of their lives.
Yeah, they really “get it” alright.

As a member of the so-called "silent generation" I simply cannot bring myself to delude myself with the extreme, fraudulent and pharsical and never ending diatribe of purely delusional thinking that makes up the Pagan Religion the lawyers and educators (indoctrineators) have deluded our children with!!!
When you boil it all down to the infectious pile of puss that makes up these myths everyone who is honest will realize that all these fractured fairy tales do is make everything cost more that even the wealthiest nation on earth can long afford!!!
All the Pew poll is doing is pushing further compliance to even further delude the poor Gen X an Y with the motivation of group think and fear!!!

Otherwise, shut you dependent traps and get a f***ing job. To which they can retort this: if you hadn't destroyed the economy, outsourced everything and imported millions of illegal aliens there would be a f***ing job to get!
I bet you don't like them apples, do you?

It’s not apples, it’s idiotic rubbish. Talk to your friends at the labor unions about labor costs and outsourcing. Talk to your big government friends in Washington about importing illegals, handing out no-money-down McMansion loans to people with no means of paying them back then printing trillions of fiat dollars to make up for the bank losses.
You think these kids care about illegals or finding work? Get real. Read their words. They care about Gaia, sodomy and free money.

It is probably far too late to turn back from the suicidal course the country has taken.
The government schools have had a lot of success in brainwashing students for the last 45 years or so and inculcating these ideas and beliefs:
- Socialism
- White Guilt about race
- One Worldism
- Bogus Man-made "Climate Change"
- Homosexualism - just another lifestyle
- Reliance on government instead of self
- Victimization
- Collectivism instead of individualism
- Success and earning money are bad things
