Newt’s problem is he just talks too much. This sort of thing is going to kill him

Gingrich Backs Obamacare’s Individual Mandate Requiring Health Insurance (May 2011)

http://www.weeklystandard.com/blogs/gingrich-obamacare-and-individual-mandate_607924.html

Nov 2011

In response to a follow-up question from Charles Krauthammer about whether he opposed the mandate as a matter of policy or constitutionality, Gingrich replied, “I believe that it is unconstitutional for the Congress to require you to buy something…because then the Congress could require you to do anything.”

... but what makes him (Gingrich) an absolute non-starter is his inability to stick to his principles when the chips are down. He will surrender, compromise, and backtrack out of an originally good position.

Geez, that sounds just like Boehner!

He was to elected to represent his district. He quit on them....all I’m saying is to hold him to the same standard as Palin.

I lived in his district at the time and was sad to see him go, but I didn't feel betrayed. I thought Palin did the right thing as well.

I agree with you. I am tired of the direction this country is headed and am about ready to drop out. If the “O” is re-elected, I’m going to buy that land and start getting ready.

Clinton was impeached and, historically, the party out of the White House picks up seats in off-year elections.

Yeah....I suspect Larry Flynt waved some dirt under his nose as well, but all throughout history (something Newt knows) politicians who lose when they should have won have resigned.

Newt however seems to have no moral compass.

If the voters of this country re-elect this piece of shit, I don't care if the pubbies have 3/4 of the senate and 3/4 of the house, I'm going into permanent seclusion.

My brain will not be able to function and I'll become one of those "whining, wagon-riding, occupying, want'ers".

Don't want to live that way.

Ladies and Gentleman,
The next President of the United States, President Herman Cain!!!! I can’t wait to have a great president again. January 2013 cannot come soon enough!!!!

I just wish the losers would drop out and just leave Newt, Cain and Romney and Paul in the debates.

I love Bachmann and Santorum and consider them to be patriotic Americans but it is time to pack up and leave.

Perry......makes me sick! Just saw a YouTube video where he called someone a “mofo” How do people take this joker seriously. He is repulsive.

“Cain is inexperienced!’

I view a non career politician as a plus. In addition Cain would surround him with a lot of competent advisers.

Hitler had lots of political experience. Are you saying that political experience is the sole determining factor?

What about wisdom?

What about values?

That’s what I love about Herman Cain: He has no experience, but lots of wisdom and, contrary to what his detractors would have you to believe, unimpeachable values.

Cheers

I have been arguing with those idiots over on Intrade for over a month about my eqivalent of that map sited in post 6.

Not only would Cain win if the election were held today, he would completely destroy the liberal Romney in delegates.

Inexperienced? Really? You’ve taken the bait, my friend, but that’s all that was really out there. Herman Cain is not inexperienced. In fact, he is the most experienced candidate in many elections. The racist liberal media would have us think of Mr. Cain as ‘that pizza guy’ and no more, but the truth is much more...If you’re wondering about his intellect, don’t. Mr. Cain has an advanced degree in mathematics, and was appointed to the Naval War College, an immense recognition and honor. He is a ballistics expert among other things, and taught at the Naval War College with distinction. If you’re wondering if he really understands business success, don’t. Much has been made of his tenure as CEO of Godfathers Pizza, but Mr. Cain was actually an executive of Pillsbury, and when one of their subsidiaries was crashing, such as Godfathers or Burger King, they would put Herman in charge. And he would fix it and make it profitable again. That’s what he does, he fixes economic things. Notice how they never mention that he saved Burger King too? Hmmm... Oh, and if you’re wondering if he truly understands the economy, DON’T. For years, Mr. Cain served as a member of the Board of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City. In fact, he served as Chairman of the Board of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City. He helped guide the economy back when it worked. He is brilliant, a business guru, and an experienced expert on The Fed. Wow, man, just wow.
