Ok, noted.
But from last night debate, and this pre-debate
interview, one can see who Newt really is:

Cain though on a CNN Wolf Blitzer interview when asked
if he would negotiate with terrorists a la Netanyahu’s
recent deal, he said he would!
Later he tried to reverse what he said by saying he
misspoke; he did not, I saw that interviews twice,
he clearly understood the question.
“...but what makes him an absolute non-starter is his inability to stick to his principles when the chips are down. He will surrender, compromise, and backtrack out of an originally good position.”
Yes. That is exactly Newt’s problem. He is brilliant, and can analyze a situation like nobody’s business... but he doesn’t have the plain ol’ gumption to stick to his guns. He never has, and I don’t see him starting now. That, plus the “baggage,” plus his occasional appearance of “snottiness” (don’t know what else to call it — that supercilious approach he takes sometimes) makes him unelectable for POTUS, IMHO.
However, I think he might be a good VP for Cain. I say might, because his own ego might get in the way (”Me be VP for this upstart???”), plus I see him possibly talking Cain into changing positions on things. However, I see Cain as someone who has the right principles and the charisma. What he needs is a close advisor who can help him navigate Washington. Newt might be that person, if he can swallow his pride.
I guess some people prefer the person who says all the right things as opposed to the one who does the right things.
Go figure.
Wow! Sounds like you own a little piece of heaven to me.
I want to add that the info on my picture came from another FreePers post.

Very Interesting! I like the color red on so many states but the delegate count is the important part. Incredible - hope the Cain Train keeps rolling right into the election depot.
Cain will surround himself with GREAT advisors, and make a decision after hearing the facts.
Newt will do whatever NEWT wants, because after all, he’s the smartest man in America....or he thinks so , anyway.
“But the race could still change; seven in 10 Republican primary voters say it is still too early to say for sure which candidate they will support.”
“The field of Republican candidates now has three candidates within striking distance of each other at the top of the list: with 18 percent, Herman Cain is in the top spot, followed by Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich with 15% each.”
“Support for both Cain and Romney has declined since late last month, and Gingrich is the only one of the top three whose support is steadily - if slowly - on the upswing.”
Yep, we sure shouldn’t ignore this poll, by golly.
Cain has killed them with all 3 of those points. It’s over, everybody except Cain should go home.
I am so glad this is all over... now we can all be friends.
Gingrich resigned because he was about to be exposed for having a honey on the side -- popularly speaking, it was the same offense as what the House was about to impeach Clinton for (though he was actually being impeached for perjury and obstruction of justice).
In other words, Gingrich properly resigned because his circumstance would have impeded the impeachment charges.
Overall, the whole cluster ***k was indicative of how badly the Republicans can mismanage a political opportunity.
LOL at the 2nd sentence.
I agree, on economy Cain would probably have an edge
over Newt. However, it does not mean that Newt’s
economic team would not do as good a job compared to Cain’s.
His extensive experience in Congress in all kinds of
budgets-related bills will come in handy. We have seen
how a smart Pres like Clinton could change the economic
equations, Newt would be likt the Clinton-equivalent
in solving the economic problems.

With Newt you get McBush, with ego higher than Mt. Everest, with no ability to get along with people. He has no endorsements, since he has no friends.
Cain has more experience in the real world of Main Street than all other politicians running COMBINED. We have had enough “Washington Knowledgeables” in power. How is that working out?
