Auto Workers Win Right to Wear Protest T-Shirts (We're Prisoners of GM!)

Workers at General Motors’ Fairfax plant in Kansas City, Kansas, have won the right to call themselves prisoners.

GM suspended around eight workers this week and last for wearing T-shirts that read “Fairfax Penitentiary Inmate.” The shirts protest increasingly strict conditions in the factory.

Yesterday, after the controversy aired on the evening news as far away as St. Louis, the company backed down and asked suspended workers to return to work at full pay.

Autoworkers are chickenshitz. They don't know what a hard day's work even is. I talked with a 90 year-old GM retiree the other day. He was rather pissed at "Government Motors" (his words.) In the re-organization he lost his medical benefits and some of his pension. It seems the Obamanoids screwed over pretty much everybody but the current union bosses.

Apparently, these union members do not understand the term "Useful Idiot".

The purpose of their jobs is to funnel campaign contributions to Obama DemoRats through their union dues, not to produce a marketable automobile.

There’s “humane” conditions and then there’s feather bedding.

The mixed influence of unions in the early 20th century helped abolish inhumane conditions. But now many have gone mushy and complain about things their forefathers (and mothers) would have eagerly welcomed. Welcome to the company of the dodo bird, unions.

I know a bunch of former Mansfield, Ohio plant workers who begged to get transfers to this plant when the Mansfield plant was announced to be closing. Knowing how more than a few of them are, I’m very sure that they’re amongst the first to be bitching out in Kansas.
