The Fulton County Health Department confirmed that residents at the homeless shelter where protesters have been occupying have contracted the drug-resistant disease. Tuberculosis is contracted through air contact. One of these persons was confirmed to have a strain of TB that is resistant to a single, standard medication used to treat this condition. [When mobs congregated in many cities urinate in the streets, have unprotected sex, and ignore the most rudimentary health and sanitary measures, a viral and bacteriological time bomb is created which will inevitably spread into the general population. This is not "your grandfather's TB" but a newly mutated form which is immune to all traditional treatments. Aside from the documented violence and drug abuse, this clearly represents a public health menace.]

But...but...this is what we want so we can save the planet from us.
Stupid is as stupid does!
The Center for Disease Control is in Atlanta so this should be no problem...No? Aren’t the “authorities” supposed to protect the population from public health threats?
I’ve heard about some of the unprotected sex.
I’ve heard that people are being tested and treated for VD at these places.
Are these camps out of control? I know the media is soft pedaling some of what is happening, but, if we are seeing disease outbreaks, don’t we have a threat to public health? Or is it all good as long as these protesters are in favor of politically correct causes????
maybe the way these camps get shut down will be based on the threat to public health.
I would like to think the CDC would “investigate”.
It’s no longer called tuberculosis, it’s now “Zuccoti Lung”.
And it is a direct result of Obamavilles.
Ok...it’s now become a public health hazard. Time to move this crap to 1400 Pennsylvania Avenue.
This is what a society of liberals looks like.
Oh joy!
TB
unfreakinbelievable.
So what now? these idiots will move their tents from parks to hospitals? Move over grandma, a protester needs your bed.
I prefer it at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue
And who says there is never any good news?
That would be racist.
LOL
She later got breast cancer, and was convinced it was from all those X-rays. Perhaps sonograms would serve the same purpose now, without the cancer risk.
I’m genuinely sorry to hear about her suffering. It does seem that in retrospect the “cure” sometimes turns out to be only something that creates another problem.
