Watching now...
Mr. Cain may end up as CEO of Politico before this is over
I'm only asking someone to summarize the claim that there's 'no documentation.' It seems to me that legitimate stories are frequently broken without what I, as an attorney, would call 'documentation.'
And I sincerely apologize for being trained as an attorney. Believe me, it hurts me worse than you, and we all make mistakes in our youth.
I don’t know either but I AM going to e-mail it to some people. Thanks for posting.
Those instructions make me want to slit my wrists.
He was talking about when Politico first contacted him about the allegations. He said Politico was trying to bait the Cain camp without having any documentation or names.
The interview is really good.
Thanks Raebie.
Yw. :-) Be sure you watch both parts.
In one case, POLITICO has seen documentation describing the allegations and showing that the restaurant association formally resolved the matter.
I haven't seen the clip yet, so this is just speculation. The article states they saw documentation (as opposed to having documentation).
Either way the article led the reader to believe they had first hand knowledge. If they lied about seeing the documentation, what else have they lied about?
I feel your pain.
Don’t count chickens yet. I saw Allred on Hannity last night and he asked her if there was anything else and she said there could be. She may have been bluffing, but I don’t feel like this is over yet. If it’s Axelrod and gang who are behind this, they won’t be intimidated easily. If they have their sights on Cain, they will not stop until they bring him down. I have a bad feeling if they can’t bring him down by scandal, that these scumbags wouldn’t try something more devious.
LOL!
I understand. I was once HTML challenged myself :-)
I finally got tired of not having the ability to post images or links, and just took a few minutes to learn the commands. They really are childishly simple.
Go ahead and do it. You'll be proud of yourself, and it'll make Freeping a whole lot more fun.
Thanks for posting this, I LIKE THIS GUY! Everything he says has the ring of truth to it. The WAY he says it passes every smell test, not one clue that he is fibbing or shading anything. Very forthright and speaks with conviction and without “parsing” every word like so many do.
Having a background in large company management myself I KNOW that his explanation of the HR issue is exactly correct. Even Cavuto, who is a smart guy, can’t seem to wrap his brain around the difference between a settlement and a severance agreement.
I’ll set aside some practice time this weekend and post a link for you. ;-)
Kewl...
I'm no expert, but I've learned most of the basic commands. If I want to do something fancy, I refer to the FR HTML Sandbox to find the right command.
You know, the Sandbox is the place to practice. Feel free to try out your skills there. That's what the thread is for. Ping me when you post your first link.
The only part I didn’t like was at the end of part two when he said he would dial back his sense of humor from a ten to a nine.
Today of all days is the day to turn it up to ELEVEN!
There ya go!
I learned them and then promptly forgot them because I use Firefox with a couple of neat add-ons for HTML, XHTML and BB. Only problem is that Firefox is bringing out new versions every couple of months and some developers don't keep up and they won't work with out tweaking. I'm using version 3.6 and they are up to V 8.0.
The following just require a click or two: Bold, Italic, underlined, strikeout, images (), URL-link (http://www.freerepublic.com/home.htm), font, color, list, etc.
I’ve been using Firefox since about 2003 or so, but I’m terrible about checking out cool add-ons. I didn’t even know there was an HTML add-on for FF.
I’m using the latest version of FF, so I don’t know if that widget works with it. I might go see. I’ve wanted to see a rich text editor on FR for years, but I’m just one lone voice crying out in the wilderness, it seems .. LOL
