Mike McQueary, the assistant Nittany Lions coach who told a grand jury that in 2002 he saw former coach Jerry Sandusky sexually assault a young boy, has been placed on administrative leave. The move was announced by Penn State Interim President Rod Erickson at a news conference that began at 4 p.m.

I take it from your weasel-words here you're not going to answer my question.
If you don't have an answer, just admit it. Squealing like a stuck pig about a "personal attack" (where?) and trying to change the subject is pretty pathetic.
They are upset that their boy got fired today ...
I take it from your weasel-words here
I don't see a single weasel-word in my post. Either state the basis for your attack on me or STFU.
McQ might have assumed that Penn would do the right thing, for a few weeks or months, until it was blatantly apparent that Sandusky still had free reign in the football program and with young boys. At that point, he still failed to do anything.
Sandusky was bringing little boys to bowl games, staying in his hotel room, and taking them on the bus with the team. There’s no way McQ didn’t see that happening.
So, your defense is that McQ decided his own future was more important than protecting countless innocent children from a predator. Not a very good argument, if you ask me.
Either answer the question or STFU!
Why can't you answer a simple question?
If McQueary is as bad/cowardly/deceitful as you imply, why didn't he just ignore the whole incident and walk away. Why didn't he just "not do anything about it"?
McQuery did not testify in 2002. He testified in December 2010 about what he witnessed in 2002. There was no grand jury in 2002 because nobody reported the crime to the police, and McQueary must have been well aware of that for eight friggin’ years.
The raped child will not be testifying, at least not at this point, because nobody knows who he is, thanks to the inaction of the various parties. For all we know, Sandusky could have murdered him and dumped the body somewhere.
Well, the, uh, question is based on a false premis and I have asked you to show a basis for that premis or STFU with your posts using that false premis.
That’s my fear, is that a sex ring doesn’t last that long without there being some bodies buried somewhere.
Very good point. Please jump to #252 to help with the current group posters.
And it’s yet another thing to turn your back on those pleading eyes and walk away.
Boogieman brought up a good point. Where is Victim #2? Is he dead? Did McQueary’s inaction result in the death of #2? This could be really sickening.
Hmm...my guess is that Paterno knew enough to be sure to maintain what he thought was plausible deniability. He asked no clarifying questions when McQueary told him about an incident in the locker room of a sexual nature. Clearly Paterno’s suspicions should have been aroused but they weren’t. I don’t think Joe did anything to stop this at all. Yes I know he campaigned for Bush 41.
Spanier came on board in ‘95. Paterno had 4 losing seasons from ‘00 to ‘04 - there were many calls for him to step down in those years. I’ve been away from Pa. for a while so maybe you know more than I do.
All your caterwauling about what might happen if he intervened is ludicrous. If you are a football player-sized man and you walk away from a pedophile 30 years your senior raping a boy, you’re no kind of man at all.
Before you say “you can’t talk until you’re in that position”, let me say, if I ever am in that position and I walk away, you have my permission to label me a coward or worse. I’ve no problem being judged by the same standard I’m applying to McQueary.
That's funny, you tried to answer the question previously, without the histrionics of "false premis (sic)!"
Why is that?
Nevermind, I'll rephrase the question yet again.
Why didn't McQueary just ignore the whole incident and walk away. Why didn't he just "not do anything about it"?
Thanks for the ping, Flycatcher.
Seems like every thread about this vile homo pedophile situation (which is looking more and more like a ring involving many men and many victims) turns into something that says a lot about every person commenting. Sort of like a Rorshach test. I also cannot believe that anyone thinks it takes a “superhero” to stop a child from being anally raped by a pervert. Or at the very least calling the cops, but heck - McQueary wasn’t a tiny old lady, he was a large young man in his prime. He certainly had the physical strength to stop the rape and protect the child.
If Penn State wins the Big Ten, does one of the BCS bowls have to extend an invitation? I’m thinking yes, but I’m not sure.
