The bizarre rant from Illinois congressman Joe Walsh came after he was grilled during an informal surgery in a bar about the lack of regulation which ultimately allowed banks to bet against their own customers.
Cutting off the man, the father-of-five yelled: 'I am tired of hearing that c**p. Don't blame the banks... that p***** me off.'

You’re right. It is a big mistake to defend the big banks. They would never have gotten so large in a free market. They are a few of the winners chosen by government policies.

Two for One Well drinks and your choice of appendectomy, vasectomy or hair transplant.
Well, that would explain the job that was done on Joe "Plugs" Biden!

First, banks were forced by government to make high risk loans. They were threatened with legal action and loss of FDIC membership. They were promised backup support from Fannie and Freddie. They had two choices, try to make the best of loaning then off-loading the loans or face bankruptcy. The major fault is from a meddling big government.
Second, the complete lack of basic financial acumen by the general public led them like sheep to slaughter to take on debt above their ability to handle it. Couple it with the general public’s living way above their means and they were destined to fail.

I too am wide awake and cannot for the life of me figure out when the word surgery became synonymous with meeting.Oh, for Pete's sake, what fresh hell is this? I still haven't reconciled myself to "charette".

He’s right. Dodd and Frank set the rules that the banks had to comply with and look at the mess.
Dodd and Frank should be swinging from lamposts.
